Log: #3
"Hey, when is this thing going to be done again?"
"I thought you weren't going to ask that again. It'll be done when it's done."
"Still, we should progress some more before the Redacted comes. We don't want a pandemic to spread amongst the world again."
The short individual, who had pacdd his game device on the table closest to him, stood out and walked to the window.
"...So, this factory... You said that no one came here, right?" To his question, the taller one nodded his head.
"Yep. This was one of the factories that the Shugosha used to create those androids from some years ago. Ever since then, this place hadn't been used by anyone. Until, well, us."
The shorter one nodded his head and sat back down on the chair.
"I'd never expect to become a robber and a runaway. If you could tell your family that you're out to save the world, they wouldn't believe you. They'll probably think that you're-"
"That's enough of that. We can't have any regrets for what we're doing. And if we do, then it will hinder our progress..."
The air around the shorter individual become colder.
"Sorry." The shorter one muttered, and he was sure the taller one had heard, but chose not to respond to it.
---?-.--
I immediately felt a familiar bed frame when I woke up. Strangely enough, no one was here to see me wake up.
Moving the covers off and getting off the bed, I noticed that it was a bit cold. It wasn't as cold as Calli-san's aura, though.
"Wait..." I hadn't felt the fabric of my clothes on my body...
Meaning...
...
So that's probably why no one was here to watch over me. My clothes had probably burned off, I got resurrected, and someone had to carry me home while I was... Yeah.
I'm sure everyone had seen... That.
But, never less, after getting my clothes back on, I walked out from my room to see if there was anyone downstairs.
And to my surprise, someone that I haven't had that much of a conversation with, Amelia-chan standing there with a cup of coffee in front of her as she scrolls on her phone, looking frustrated for some reason.
"Amelia-chan?" With widened eyes, she looked up to see me on the staircase.
"Haru! You're awake..." She trailed off as if she wanted to say something else.
"Yeah. I'm guessing that everyone is still sleeping? What time is it anyway?"
"It's half past eleven. But... don't worry about everyone else... It's been a long night yesterday." The bags under her eyes proves it well.
For once, she really looked like she gave up on something important.
Amelia-chan never really this side of her. I've recently learned that Amelia-chan hides a lot under her facade of a smile.
