Finding you (Sequel to secretive)

Chapter 2: Operation Combat

Minju observed 3 shadows in the courtyard. 

Yena, Hitomi... and Yuri?

When she turned the corner, Yena and Hitomi were there, but the final member wasn't who she expected.

"Yujin?"

"Yup!"

"You're helping us with the..." Minju trailed off. What if Yena hadn't told Yujin what they were doing? There was no way she would be the one to give it away.

"With the top secret combat lesson? Yup? You know how much I love mischief!"

"But we asked you said no when we asked you!"

"That's because I thought we'd get caught! If we got caught, I'd be the one who took the blame, and I couldn't have that. Yena let me in on her plan because she knew I could keep a secret, and once I realized Yena had it all covered, I had no problem participating" 

Yujin looked behind her. Minju spun around to realized that all 3 of her friends had arrived

"That" Yujin said in a louder voice "Is an important lesson for any aspiring spies - always have a plan. And a backup plan. And a backup plan for your backup plan. And as many backup plans as you can manage. When you're a spy, anything could go wrong" 

"You also have to be prepared to make excuses" Yena added. "Pretend that I'm Eunbi Unnie"

The members looked at each other, confused.

Yena went up to Wonyoung "Why are you here in the courtyard with everybody!?" It was obvious what she was doing- playing out a scenario where they got caught

"I'm sorry, Eunbi Unnie"  Wonyoung said with her cutest puppy eyes "I saw a flower that I didn't recognize, I was just going to look at it quickly but I couldn't figure out, so I called Yena, and I think she misheard something I said, because she brought everyone here!! Isn't that silly?"

Yena gave Wonyoung a look that said 'That was pretty impressive but why did you have to throw me under the bus'  Wonyoung let out a giggle but kept a straight face. 

"I believe this is a combat lesson" Hitomi informed them.

"You're right" Yujin said. "I suppose we should get started"

And so they did. They learned kicks and punches and attacks and dodges. And Minju could barely believe when it was over.

"Can we do this again?" Wonyoung begged as soon as Yujin declared the lesson was over. 

"I dunno, the more we do it the more likely we are to get caught" 

"Caught for what? Trying to protect ourselves?" Hitomi said fiercely. 

"But Eunbi Unnie will be mad if we go behind her back..." Yena said nervously. 

"I've already been kidnapped once before" Minji said, a new strength in her voice. "We don't know it won't happen again. Should I - and all of us - be prepared?"

Even Nako made puppy eyes at the spies. That was the winning plea. 

"Fine" Yena sighed. "The same time next week?"

"Yes!" The girls cheered. 

Minju smiled victoriously and headed home, too excited to worry about sneaking around. 

Which made it probably her fault when her girlfriends voice called from behind her "Minju? What are you doing?"
