after Hiccup left he and Astrid Have been exchanging Terror Mails for 4 years.

Astrid would also take Her monthly Expedition that lasted two weeks during those years.

what did she do on those expeditions?

snotlout has become the new heir of Berk but soon realizes that being heir isn't all that it's up to be, with being the heir he is starting to crumble under the pressure of the chief and his father. he starts to change over time seeing the wrongs he's done but always has to keep a profile around his father and the chief.

one by one the members of the Gang start to change one by one they all take their expeditions and sometimes go on for a few months this time but who knows why?

the people of Berk tried to find traders and found many many new Traders but many of the traders were still hesitant to add Berk to their current trading routes

a few years after hiccups death, on Astrid's mother's side her uncle, aunt and her cousin come to live on Berk.

her cousin starts to cause trouble.

a Family Feud that started in the Hofferson Household always trying to one-up each other and Astrid always tried to steer clear of it and wanted nothing to do with it but always seemed to get caught in the crossfire.

Terror mail became a very very important thing to the gang after Astrid left but one by one the gang started to leave Berk to live their own lives as well. In the end, they did the same as Astrid had done before, but this time they made a public message that they were leaving to live on their own but would always visit from time to time. The gang left Berk and secretly other people leave Berk as well.

Snotlout was the last one to leave, he was always going on longer expeditions as an heir

Longer his expeditions went he said that his mission was to make peace with many of the other tribes of the archipelago.
