"What if she doesn't like me? What if I'm not the girl she's looking for? What if the other people she's interviewing are far more qualified than me?". Olivia groaned, rambling on about all the ways her interview could go wrong. Spencer smiled softly knowing how much his girlfriend loved to overthink.

"Liv,". Spencer started taking her out of her state of panic. Olivia took a deep breath on the other end of the line. "I know. I'm rambling again aren't I?". She asked. Spencer shrugged. "Only a little,".

Olivia exhaled the breath she'd been holding. Releasing the tension she'd felt on her shoulders. She pouted her lips feeling the stress of the interview rise while her anxiety was bubbling to the surface. "I just really want this Spencer. This is what will get my foot in the door for my career. It's a big deal,".

Olivia's voice cracked while the tears threatened to fall. Spencer nodded understanding how important this interview is. So he could only imagine how stressed Olivia had been. She'd been a nervous wreck since the night she'd found out about the interview a few days ago. "Would it help if you would come over and we could run through your questions one more time?". He asked knowing exactly what to say to calm his girlfriend down. A small smile spread on her lips.

"I was actually thinking of the same thing. So-". Two knocks came from the front door causing Spencer to stop making his morning cup of coffee to go answer it. "-I'm already here,". He walked over to the window and pulled back the curtain to see Olivia waving at him. A smile beamed on his lips seeing that his girlfriend was already at his front door.

As soon as Spencer opened the door, Olivia wasted no time embracing him. A sigh escaped her already feeling the weight of her shoulders lift. She knew it was something she needed before her interview.

Olivia always felt a safe comfort being in his arms, and right now with her mind racing a million miles per hour, it was the only thing that had calmed her thoughts. Closing her eyes she breathed in his body soap and the smell of fresh laundry from his shirt that grounded her. It kept her anxiety at bay and her nerves more steady. Gripping onto him tighter, Spencer held her closer tightening the space in between them.

"I needed this,". Olivia loosened her grip on Spencer, pulling back to meet his eyes. Although Spencer didn't say it, he needed her too. "You want some coffee?". He asked. Olivia nodded with a smile. "Please,".

The rich aromas of the sweet caramel coffee calmed her racing thoughts, bringing a smile to her lips. A content hum escaped her holding the cup to her nose to take another whiff of the coffee. "Thank you. I needed this too,". Spencer chuckled looking back to his girlfriend who seemed calmer than when he spoke to her over the phone just a few minutes ago.

"How are you feeling with the All American game coming up in two days?". Olivia asked hoping for a distraction from her own thoughts. She knew how busy Spencer had been these past few weeks preparing for the big game.

Reasons why she was surprised to see him home as every time she would call him in the mornings, Spencer would be out in the field or at the gym.

He let out a long sigh stuck in his own thoughts. "I'm ready Liv. My ribs are healed up, and I feel great when I'm on the field. You coming to the game?". Spencer asked hoping to see his girl in the stands cheering him on. Olivia hummed. "I am. I wouldn't miss it for the world,". She took a sip of her coffee. "Besides I'm hoping we get a redo on that state championship kiss we never got,".

Spencer chuckled walking over to stand beside her. "And I'll try to promise you that I won't get injured this time around so we can actually get that long-awaited kiss,". Olivia shot him a look letting him know the joke wasn't funny. "That's not funny,". She pouted her lips.
