The Unbeatable Guard

The four girls finally made it to Roman's hideout. It took them less time due to Weiss's semblance, but it still took quite awhile. Maybe too long, it seemed the meeting had already started. They looked towards the entrance. There stood one guard. "Of course there would be a guard" Weiss sighed, noticing he looked fairly strong. " There is only one guy. This should be easy", Yang eagerly stated, cracking her knuckles, jumping forward, refusing to listen to her teammates screaming for her to stop.

Yang pov- I ran toward the guard and punched him in the face as hard as I could with my prosthetic arm, with no effect. I looked at my arm and noticed it was damaged even more than it already was. The man simply growled and lifted up his arm. Suddenly, I was sent flying unaware of what hit me. It felt like my body was sapped of its strength. Every inch of my body hurts like hell. My vision grew blurry and I could only hear the muffled screams of my teammates as I hit the ground twitching, unable to move.

"tsk I can't believe Yang couldn't dodge that attack" Ruby scoffed " Could you two see it?" She say, with a serious glare in her eyes, Weiss and Blake just nodded. "We need to go in there and help her", Blake said with a worried look. Weiss looked at Blake and began to say " No, you stay here Blake, don't worry Ruby and I will handle this". Blake bit her lip. She wanted to tell Weiss that she could fight too, but there was no use arguing. She watched her two teammates jumped into the fray.

 the two girls lunged at the guard he raised both of his fists and launched his attack which was only a simple punch Ruby effortlessly dodged the attack but Weiss barely managed to sighing in relief that she didn't get hit "he's so fast we should try long distance combat" Weiss said jumping back a little to gain more distance Ruby scoffed at Weiss and said "running is for cowards we can't win if we attack him from afar" fine Weiss sighed as they jumped towards him to try to attack again this time the 2 girls faked him out by jumping in the air and doing a diving attack it connected but did nothing "damnit is this guy another one of the drugged grimm we fought" Weiss snarled pushing herself back "he must be he clearly isn't using a semblance what a lowly creature" Ruby said in annoyance leaving Weiss in shock Ruby didn't retreat she pushed back a little spun around and hit her target with Cresent Rose as hard as she could with no effect this led her open to attack she was hit and sent flying but she was able to recover and land on her feet the man glared at her using petals burst Ruby rocketed herself forward she started to spin mid air so fast I created a mini tornado the man didn't try to tank this attack he jumped out of the way sending Ruby plowing through the forest until she slowed down face planting into a tree a stunning her for a bit

Weiss pov- what the hell am I supposed to do? I thought to myself, looking around at my two teammates who were seemingly defeated. I was shaking. I'm not strong enough. I thought to myself "let's fight together". Blake said before coming to my side. "No Blake, you'll get hurt". I told her, worried about her well-being, "but you'll die if you fight all on your own", she pleaded. I couldn't say no to her. " All right, keep up then" I shouted. Blake nodded and we jumped in to fight.

The two girls were like a perfect duo. They were running circles around the guard. They couldn't do damage but they were too fast to get hit by any attacks. Yang was looking at them in shock at how well they were working together. They were supporting each other like they've fought together their whole life. " We're running circles around him" said Blake swiftly dodging an incoming attack "it doesn't matter if we can't do any damage to him" Weiss replied, springing back before he could attack her. Blake went in and tried to slash him but couldn't cut through. Weiss grabbed the ribbon of the Faunus's weapon and yanked it towards her pulling Blake out of harms way before she got hit by the incoming attack. " He's durable as fuck". Blake lamented, pondering how they would win. Both their hearts sank as they realized that the only chance they had was to get Yang to attack with burn  the two girls felt an ominous aura they looked over and saw Ruby had made her way out of the forest she was dashing towards the guard she activated her semblance and dashed towards him at blinding speeds "Die!!!!" She screamed slamming Cresent Rose into the guard creating a Shockwave that blew her three teammates away the three girls Weiss created ice pillars to catch Blake and her while Yang hit another tree badly damaging her back and her prosthetic arm in the process. Weiss and Blake watched their leader relentlessly attacking the guard. They didn't look too long, as they immediately jumped back in, leaving Yang by herself, even with the three of them attacking in unison they couldn't break through the needed Yang. But she was still on the ground "damnit Yang stop being useless and get up!!" Ruby screamed in annoyance. Blake was about to get hit but Weiss jumped in the way, taking the full brunt of the attack, but she couldn't afford to falter. She immediately stood up passion in her eyes "I can't afford to lose here". She coughed, immediately striking with her Rapier. If I didn't get up they'll all die. Yang thought struggling to get up Yang lunged forward and activated the burn. She saw the opening and punched the guard, sending him flying through the door. None of them had time to catch their breath. Ruby immediately ran inside the building and out of sight. The others were about to follow as the guard got up. His face started to crumble, revealing the face of Adam Tarus underneath, which shocked the three girls as they got ready to fight. Ruby went through the corridor. She activated her semblance, speeding through the hallway, bursting through the conference room door. She noticed the surprise on Roman and Cinder's faces. Ruby smirked, seeing the looks on their faces its showtime, she thought, as one of the hidden explosives went off
