False Meeting

Neo pov- today is the day Roman and Cinder are meeting up. Cinder walks into the conference room and I glare at her. I don't trust her I feel like she has something in mind. She definitely doesn't have Roman's well-being in mind. Cinder has never been known to be a team player. "Neo, it's been awhile how have you been?" She says in a condescending tone, knowing full well I can't answer her. "Ah Cinder. nice of you to come all the way out here today" Roman said coming from the corridor grinning "come inside let's talk" he eagerly said motioning for her to come inside we walked down the corridor to get to the meeting room

Roman- So Cinder, what made you decide to form this alliance?

Cinder- Oh I just thought we'd be better off working together. Team RWBY is pretty tenacious, you know.

Roman- Neo and I know that's why I want that drug Salem has been producing asap. Without it, I don't know how I will be able to fight those four in the future, since I lack power

Cinder- have you thought its good to lack power sin.

Neo pov- Cinder stopped talking for a brief second and mumbled something Roman and I didn't hear, but it couldn't have been good I saw the look in her eyes. She has alterior motives. We stopped at the door to the conference room. Roman opened the door for Cinder to "come in and sit down", he joyfully said, motioning her inside the room. It was heavily guarded, which made me relived, since even she wouldn't be dumb enough to try anything while there were this many guards. They started talking for about 30 minutes just normal stuff about the drug and what Salem's plan was. Then Cinder wanted to talk about the parameters of the alliance.

Cinder- So Roman, I want to talk to you about the details of our little alliance

Roman-What do you want to talk about?

Cinder- So to cut things short, Salem and I have decided that we have no use for you

Roman looked at her in confusion. " What do you mean", he said in a confused tone. Cinder immediately shot back, "Salem and I have decided to dispose of you before you become a problem". She paused for a minute before talking again. " I had someone set up timed bombs around the base ahead of time in hidden locations. You have 2 choices. For me to disarm them or run like the pathetic weakling you are." Roman glared at her. "won't you die too if you get caught in the explosions?" He said with a confident tone "no I won't, because I'm going to leave before the bombs go off." She said in a snarky tone Roman screamed for his men to shoot her but they all pointed their guns towards Roman instead "what's going on!!" Roman yelled really confused by why his men were pointing their guns at him Cinder was just laughing "Roman all your men decided to work for me since there is no way you will escape today" Cinder said nonchalantly she order them to shoot but before they could someone bursted through the wall "Roman, Cinder you're under arrest" screamed Ruby one of the bombs prematurely exploding in the process
