Childhood~

I smelt the roses in the atmosphere, light air rising around me. I place my little feet onto the grass and run to sit on the bench.
I could hear the sound of grass crushing under my feet, making me chuckle.
I sat on the bench and saw him drawing something.
"Kookie, what's this?"
"My dream!"
"What's your dream?"
"To start my own magazine publications."
"Give me your hand."
"Um..okay?"
"Now, close your eyes, kookie."
He closes those little eyelids.
"Now, take a deep breath and make a wish and open your eyes."
He opens his eyes to see a beautiful dandelion on his soft palms.
"Kookie, make a wish and blow on it"
"Ok." He closes his eyes making his wish and blows onto the dandelion making its seeds fly into the atmosphere. Yoonah claps her hands excitedly and he chuckled at her actions.
"Kookie, I'm sure you're dream will come true one day. And I hope you remember me on that day." She says and leans forward to place a kiss on his cheeks.

I was an orphan and I spent my entire childhood in an orphanage in Daegu.

Things weren't easy at the start. But even if I faced poverty we would get things we need.
I spent my life there until I turned 19 and decided to live independently.

My biggest fear is loneliness.
There were two different times I felt lonely in my life.
When I spent my life at the orphanage, I would have the company of my friend named kookie. He would always be there with me during my ups and downs.

Everything eventually changed when he got adopted at the age of 13 and I was left all alone.
That was the first time I felt lonely.
It was painful indeed but I endured it.
I'm 23 today, and I believe I'm more of a strong woman but internally, I'm not.

Ever since then, I haven't even taken a chance to look out for him, they told me that he was taken to a rich household and had a wealthy life but I never got to meet him.

So, I decided to focus on myself.
But, Jungkook looks way too familiar to kookie. I might not be right so I wouldn't jump into conclusions cause he's my CEO.

I drifted out of my thoughts and focused onto my work when my phone buzzed.

Jung hoseok

"Hello?"

"Yoonah, it's me hobi"

"How are you doing, hobi?"

"I've been good but ever since you left, he lost taste in his life"

"I have no say in this."

"I get it, you know he's cold outside but he needs you. He cannot be without you."

"It's been a year, hobi. Things have changed."

"He hasn't changed, he still is waiting for you. He has returned from New York."

"Oh! Great then." I felt the pain in me, the sting in my heart. The way he told me to let him go.

The way he told me, "I'm sorry, I think you must leave, Ri"

I could hear my heart breaking into a million pieces.
But now...

He's back...
