She looks at Jungkook holding a frown on his pale face and she knew something was off. When the maid brought him inside the room, he smiles looking at her. Jungkook was going to leave her, he was going to leave her side and never return, so are his promises meaningless after all. No, it wasn't. He comes closer to her with a box in his hands. He looks at her and the box. "I want to give you this necklace of my mom's, she wore it before her death. It will look beautiful on you." I look at the box and then at him. He opens it and takes out the necklace that caught her eyes, they sparkled so bright just like her eyes. The pendant, a glimmering Ruby. She smiles at it. He places it around her neck, securing it in place. He looks at her and he chuckled happily. She smiles at him. The maid took all of Jungkook's stuff and loaded them inside the trunk of a big car. She looked at him, sitting inside it with his new found parents. He looks at you, smiles and waves his hand bidding a farewell. She missed Jungkook ever since then, she was just 10 when he left. She would feel bored, would never have a person to lay her head onto. She was still holding onto the promise he had made, that he would find her and would make her happy.
Years pass and she becomes a grown up woman. She rents a flat and buys it when she earns enough money. She was also supported by the orphanage for her University. She would place the necklace safely and would wear it on special occasions. It was the key that would help her find kookie, The key that would reunite them back together. Without even her knowledge.
I shift in my seat, uncomfortably while he stares at me. "Red is my favourite." He says with a smirk lingering on his lips. My heart flutters at his words. "You look beautiful after all." "Thank you, Jungkook." He sips the red wine while his eyes focuses on me. "I came here instead of my friend who's just too stubborn to come to this date." I say looking at him clearing the awful silence that swayed among us.
"It's good, I got to meet you after all!" He says placing down his glass and looks at me. I gulp. Why do I feel so nervous? "I'll order one of the best food's cooked here, you'll enjoy it." He says. "No, i-" He calls the waiter cutting my words midway. He orders a Risotto, a lasagna, spaghetti Alla Carbonara. They were those names that you haven't even heard of and have no idea of how they're gonna taste like. He notices my puzzled face and touches my hand, placing it on mine. "It's gonna taste good, I've had them and they're my favorites." He grins at me and I nod.
We wait for the food to arrive. He notices the necklace I wore and keeps looking at it. Just then, I see someone entering the hall. Luna? She was holding a man's arm and walked inside making people jolt up their heads upon her arrival. I looked at them closely and I my eyes widen when I see Taehyung beside her. Why? I jolt from my seat causing Jungkook to widen his eyes. "What's wrong Yoonah?" He follows my gaze and looks at them. I walk forward to the table where they sat, Jungkook following me.
Taehyung looks up at me with utter shock in his eyes and Luna smirks. It felt like as if she knew everything about me and was playing tricks to hold me on Check. Taehyung rises from his seat and they both come stand in front of me. "What are you doing here R-" Luna cuts him off harshly and says, "Hey, Jungkook. I've come out on a date with my fiance and who's this pretty lady?" My heart shuddered at her words and I can sense Jungkook noticing it. I look at Taehyung with blurry eyes.
