A Coffee Date~

I take a deep breath and push the door entering his cabin.
I see him sitting on his chair, looking at me.
He flashes a smile towards me and I return it casually.
"Please take your seat, Ms.Lee," he says.
"Thank you."
"I must say that right from the beginning, you gave me a lot of hope when I saw your resume. Just like that you've proved me as well. " I listen to his words carefully.

"I'm happy with your work, and I'm sure you'll bring pride to my publications. Here, sign this contract and you can continue your work."

I take the contract and read it before taking my pen out and signing it.

I mumble a 'thank you' and turn towards the door when he asks me,

"If you don't mind, we must grab some coffee after work."
Shocked at his words, I turn towards him and say, "sure, Mr. Jeon"

And I walk out of the cabin.
W-WHAT was that for?

I begin walking towards my desk when I see Jimin.
"Hey, Jimin"
"Hi, what'd he say?"
"Asked me to grab some coffee?" Why did I say that?
"What?" Jimin asks with widened eyes.
"Yes, he did"
"He's usually cold towards new employees but, looks like he has a softer side for you."
I chuckle mockingly.
"What if he crushes on you?" He asks.
"Jimin, first of all, playboys aren't my type."
"What? No, you definitely don't know him. I've known him and his Foster family, we went to the same University and he's not the Playboy kind."
I lean on the wall listening to him.
"But, I am not ready for any kind of relationship, I don't deserve it." I say.
He notices the glint of tears in my eyes and says,
"It's not that you don't deserve it but, you need to take the brighter side of it. There's no one in this world who doesn't deserve love it's just that people are Traitorous." He says and walks away after giving me the warmest smile ever.

I take a deep sigh, deciphering his words and whatever he told was true. I should probably give another chance to myself and to love...

I completed editing the necessary records I got through emails and I should submit these for them to be published in the Weekly - 'Beast today' magazine.
I get up and walk outside only to be greeted by Jungkook.
"Let's leave now." He says.
"Ok."
I follow him slowly and I see an ocean of heads lifting up to see me walking behind the CEO. I could hear the ladies whispering something to each other and sharing the dirtiest glances at me. Well, I don't give a fuck.

We walk on the scaffold smelling the evening air around us. I look at the bright lights of the shops cascading down the road enlighting the area.
I smile at the sight in front of me, unknowingly.
I came back to my senses when I heard him cough awkwardly.
I turned in his direction and saw him looking everywhere but me.
I smile at his behavior.
We reached the cafe and ordered a cappuccino and a caramel macchiato.

I saw his actions carefully when he sips the cup and then glances at the people outside. They were unintentional, yet so beautiful.
I averted my gaze and gave attention to the cup in front of me. Coffee is my addiction. But in a good way.

"You can call me Jungkook from now." He says without looking at me but at the street outside.
"Yes, Jungkook".
"So, Do you live nearby?"
"No, I own a flat down the Itaewon street," I respond
"Great." He says looking at me.
With those orbs, it resembled so much of my kookie. I paused looking at him.
I turned my head to the other side and pushed my thoughts away. NO.

Just then, I met a familiar pair of eyes looking at mine from outside. I couldn't move at all. It was like as if time stopped and memories hit me like a truck, I gulp down.
My vision becomes blurry and I look at him again. Clearly this time...
And yes, it was him
