Suspicious Suspects

"Enkai, remember you said that-" Asmodeus mumbled softly but I stopped him before he could say more.

"I'll be fine, I'm going to be with Boruto remember?" I said, nudging Boruto by the arm and he quickly nodded in agreement.

Giving no other more complaints, Asmodeus just laid his head, snuggling on my pillow before finally shutting his eyes and going to sleep.

Asmodeus was the only one other than Mitsuki that knew about the event before, obviously Asmodeus wanted to instantly tell Kakashi or Iruka but I refused.

It would cause more trouble if he did tell them. That little kid's wish will soon come true anyways.

"Come on, I want to come back before dinner," I whispered, closing the door behind me as we made our way downstairs.

"I'm fine with that," Boruto agreed happily, putting his shoes on while I went to inform Iruka about going outside.

Iruka had been staring at the pictures on the cabinet with gentleness in his eyes, slightly smiling as he picked up one of the pictures frames.

"Iruka?" I called out gently but he still jumped at my voice, setting the picture back down on the cabinet before facing towards me.

"Yes? Is there something you need?"

"Can I go out with Boruto, I promise I'll be back before dinner," I pleaded, staring at the same picture that Iruka was staring at.

Feeling a hand on my head, I looked up to see Iruka almost in tears although he was smiling. Was he happy or sad? I really can't tell.

"Sure, you can go," Iruka replied happily, tucking my loose hair behind my ear.

"Are you sure? I can tell Boruto to cancel it," I asked again

"No, no, I'll not keep you here any longer, just come back before dinner," Iruka reassured and I nodded, leaving the man alone to himself.

I hope she comes back with being injured, he thought worriedly, hearing the door close soon after...

"So where do you want to go?" I questioned curiously, ignoring the stares from the villagers.

"Hmm, Katasuke said that he wanted to show me something," Boruto said, walking towards a place that people were hardly seen around.

"Katasuke? Who's that?"

"He's a scientist and he usually makes inventions, like that video game we were playing last week," Boruto explained, opening the metal door with ease.

The whole territory looked empty though there were noise coming from different areas. It didn't seem that this place owned by a scientist.

"Katasuke-San! Katasuke-San! I'm here to check the new invention!" Boruto yelled bluntly before I shushed him.

"Are you sure we're at the right place," I whispered slowly, passing several other corridors but Boruto didn't have a chance to respond.

Close by, a door opened with such speed that I jumped back to behind Boruto but he found the situation normal.

"Oh hello, young Lord! And you brought a friend?" The male said and Boruto nodded.

"Yeah, she is, Katasuke, this is Enkai, Enkai, this is Katasuke," Boruto introduced.

The male, called Katasuke, had short crop of brown hair and brown eyes and was wearing a pair of glasses. He had a very creepy smile and had a sneaky personality but if Boruto trusts him, then I should too.

Katasuke nodded towards me, with a regular smile on, showing no sense of joy or irritation before walking onwards into the corridor, Boruto following him close behind.

"I wanted to show you, both, my new invention," Katasuke explained, opening the door to reveal a small room with books scattered about with a desk in the corner.

Walking over to the desk, he picked up to seemed to look like a piece of metal on top of a long wristband and gave it to Boruto.

"This is what I wanted to show you," Katasuke said proudly, waiting for us to ask what it was as we looked at the 'gadget?'.

"What is it, pieces of trash put together?" I questioned, touching the 'gadget?'.

Having Katasuke look offended, the male took something out of his pocket, "When I show you how it works, you're going to want one too,"

"I doubt that," I challenged back with bored expressions, having the man smirk at the challenge....
