Weeks seemed to go by within minutes. I was sitting on the comfortable recliner chair in William Rockefeller's home once again. I accepted the job a couple of weeks ago and loved the decision. It was a offer no one could refuse and from what I know about William, it was definitely legit.

I sat in the theatre with Sophia watching Finding Dory. It was just us in this big house today. William was at work until 7, Krissy is out of town once again and Johnathan was at baseball practice. I'm not even sure if she knows that I am the kid's nanny. I haven't seen her since I started working for them. I hope nothing bad happens from this. The afternoon had been filled with movies, dancing, and baking since I picked Sophia up school. I can't say I didn't enjoy it. I've babysat many kids but nothing compared to this.

"Are your parents always so busy." I asked Sophia as who was stuffing her face with popcorn. I felt a need to ask the question. From what I have seen from knowing this family, they don't have much family time to gather and that's not good for the kids.

"Yes, all day everyday. I only see mom once a week and only see dad when he comes in to kiss me goodnight." She answered me after she finished munching the buttery snack.

"Oh." I don't know what to say. I'm not a therapist. I mean I have thought about it but it didn't suit me so well. I turned back to the movie until she spoke again.

"It was different before mommy started working and traveling more again. That's when they started yelling a lot and dad hated when she was gone so he started working a lot more too." She said looking at me with her big hazel eyes.

She turned back to the movie and we didn't speak after that. When the movie finished, we got up and drove to get Johnathan from practice. I treated them out to milkshakes and came back to the house to start on dinner for them. Sophia was helping me with it just like always. I really think she will grow up to be chef at the rate she is going. She is mixing and pouring the food without my guidance at this point.

Around eight we were done eating and sitting on the couch watching a tv show before bed. Neither parents were home but I put no thought into it. I'm their nanny so I'll stay as long as I need. The time ticked away and before I know it I was helping Sophia into bed. She was about to ask where her Dad was until he walked into the room. He looked tired with his shirt wrinkled and untucked. A small smile appeared on my face as I walked out of the room closing the door behind me.

I entered the kitchen and grabbed a fancy sparkling water from the refrigerator. I heard Will come in and sit on the bar stool  across from me. He looked tired from a long day of work. I grabbed another water and slid it to him. It wasn't my place to speak but I felt the need to.

"Don't say anything back just listen. You need to spend more time with the kids. I love being their nanny but I'm not their mother. With whatever is going on between you two this is the time you should know be with them because they don't understand what is happening between you two." I looked at him leaning against the counter across from him.

"I know and I promise I will." He said looking into my eyes.

"Good so go ahead and tell whoever that you won't be coming into work tomorrow, you will be spending the whole day with us at the amusement park." I smirked and he returned one back before picking up his phone and texting someone.

I left the kitchen to go get my things so I could leave but before I could reach the door I felt William's arms wrap around me. His chin rested on my head as his body stood over mine. "Thank you." He whispered before releasing me and walking away. I stood there for a second taking in his lingering scent. I headed towards the front door before my thoughts could take over my body cause me to do something I'll regret.
