soobin was an idiot. seriously, what even was that. that promise sounded so disgustingly sappy. soobin found it hard to believe that it even came out of his mouth.

but soobin himself was shocked to find the amount of shit he said around yeonjun.

and...the realization of him being in love with yeonjun was not really going to change anything? confess to yeonjun? that wasn't even an option. only soobin would understand the amount of struggle it took for him to get yeonjun to consider soobin as his acquaintance. ruin that for a possible failed confession? hell na.

"oh shit, i need to go." said yeonjun, his face looking awfully panicky. soobin merely nodded in response, not wanting to keep yeonjun around since he seemed to be in a hurry.

yeonjun immediately scurried off to wherever. soobin looked around a bit but didn't really see who yeonjun went towards.

ahem, it was none of his concern anyway. he wasn't even the slightest bit curious. yeah, he wasn't. 100%.

soobin looked at the festival preparation. soobin was...proud of it. it was, after all, entirely his idea, right? soobin really hoped it would be a success and that he wouldn't let yeonjun down.

soobin smiled slightly to himself.

being in love wasn't such a bad feeling after all.

--------------------

yeonjun panted heavily, as he dashed through the crowd of people setting up multiple stalls. fck, he was so screwed. he looked at his watch. yep, definitely screwed.

yeonjun muttered 'excuse me' multiple times, going through every tiny gap he found to make it to his destination.

upon finally reaching it, he couldn't meet the eye of the person. his father.

"why are you late?" asked yeonjun's dad, his tone cold, conveying his anger.

i can't tell him i was having a mini rendevous with soobin, thought yeonjun.

"i was busy with the preparations" lied yeonjun.

mr.choi raised an eyebrow. "preparations, you say? don't you have a team of people? the entire student council working for you? you're an awfully good-mannered kid, then."

yeonjun didn't reply and simply kept his head down.

mr.choi let out a sigh of disappointment. "whatever. quickly go finish up everything and get dressed. we need to be there for the opening of the festival. especially, since you're the owner of the school."

his dad put so much emphasis on the word owner that it made yeonjun slightly sick in the stomach. he was overwhelmed by nausea. he hated that title. if he could, he would throw away that title to anyone who wanted it.

it had never given him any good.

'yes, dad.' was all yeonjun said in reply.

---------------------------

"what the fck? i'm not wearing that." said soobin, stubbornly crossing his arms.

yuna took a deep breath. she would not punch soobin. soobin was at a higher rank than here. she faced the possibility of suspension if she punched soobin.

but that didn't mean that she didn't want to punch him. oh god, if she could, she would've drugged him and thrown him in some cellar.

yuna smiled, straining all her muscles to maintain it. "listen, soobin-ssi. it's a dress code. as a member of the student council, you need to follow the dress code!"
