usually, when a couple freshly gets together, people imagine them going through a, what's popularly known as a 'honeymoon phase', you know, the phase where they're head over heels for each other and smooching and like they can't keep their hands off of each other, that phase.

that was the phase that soobin was expecting. 

and that's precisely what soobin didn't get. 

it had been four days since their passionate kiss and confession (this incident is slightly dramatized in soobin's head.) and what happened after that?

soobin hasn't even seen one glimpse of yeonjun. not even one. not even a whiff of his scent or a hint of shadow (yes, soobin is being dramatic cause he's yeonjun-deprived, moving on), nothing, none at all. 

soobin crossed his arms, annoyed. okay, he gets it. yeonjun is a complete newbie when it came to dating but wasn't this a bit too much? soobin was really tempted to barge into the student council room again but he had to respect yeonjun as rank 1 of the school. actually that was false, he wanted everyone else to respect yeonjun as rank 1 while he gets to...he gets to...you know, you get the point. 

soobin immediately sprung on his feet. wait a minute, was yeonjun not meeting him because soobin didn't officially ask yeonjun out? technically speaking, yeonjun didn't even confess to him. he confessed the fact that he loved soobin through beomgyu. 

soobin grabbed his hair. oh no, what should he do? he started frantically pacing around the room, why was everything 10x times more complicated when it came to yeonjun?

soobin's chain of thoughts was interrupted when he heard a knock on his door. he really didn't have to guess who it was. Only one person in the entire school would bother visiting soobin in his filthy-ass room. 

soobin opened the door, revealing huening kai standing with a smile on his face and cover in his hand. he lifted it up and said, "i have some cup ramen and soda, want some?"

soobin's broke out into a smile, as he opened the door wider, letting kai inside. that was exactly what he needed. 

"come in"

"it's a pleasure to have you here, mr.choi" said the man across him, bending politely. 

mr.choi slightly nodded his head in return. he saw no need to bend to this man. 

"i see you're alone today, i'm sure i wouldn't have minded if you have brought your sons along." 

Mr. choi gave out a fake smile. it's not like he didn't want to bring them. well, he wanted to bring yeonjun at the least. but yeonjun seemed to be working on something in his room and if it was beneficial for the school mr.choi preferred that yeonjun worked on that rather than come and meet this slobbering geezer in front of him. 

maybe he should've brought beomgyu, at least. even though he was useless, at least he had a good face. 

mr.choi looked at his watch. if it were up to him, he would've gotten this old man dead and dusted long time back but unfortunately, he had a significant share in his company and death of this man would ultimately be a loss for the shinsen labels. 

"ah, my apologies. my sons have been quite busy with school work especially since their victory at the festival." 

"ah, yes! i had heard about that. congratulations, though due to prevailing circumstances i was unable to attend, my daughter had attended the festival and she had said it was quite a beautiful sight and how she had so much fun over there."
