The Hybrid's Oracle

Vision

  Renée didn't know what she was doing, all she wanted was to save that wolf from getting hurt. She found herself going deeper into the woods away from civilization but she didn't care.
'Wolf, find wolf before he gets hurt.' her mind keeps repeating. She didn't know where she was headed to until she was lost. She abandons the bicycle and started to look around for a way out. It wouldn't make any sense if she gets lost and hurt while trying to save some wolf in the forest based in the trance she had, some people would even call her crazy since wolves haven't existed in a long time. Even if she does manage to find the wolf, the odds that he'll have her for dinner was rather high here.

  Accepting the fact that she was lost, she sat on the base of a tree waiting for some miracle to happen. She was dozing off when she hears a familiar voice.

  "Renée! You better be alive or my brother would disown me and half of the world would be in danger!." Luciana was so upset, this action made her wonder why Renée was always ditching her but she quickly clears that thought from her mind and tries to process the most pressing one at this point.
  Finding her brother's mate

  She had followed the trail but she couldn't only pray that her friend was still alive and had not been sucked dry by a vampire or worst still, eaten by rogues. He brother would definitely go on another killing spree and wipe out half of the supernatural world if his newly found mate has been hurt.

  "Lucy! I'm here and I'm alive!" She yelled back feeling guilty, she had no right in scaring the girl by running off without a simple explanation.

  "Thank the goddess that you're okay!". She hugged Renée tightly, worried about how close she was to losing her. "Why did you do that! You just ran off without a simple explanation. What if you had gotten yourself hurt or something! Do you know how worried you made me?".

  "I'm sorry, I just saw-."

  A loud growl was heard by both of them, cutting off Renée's speech. She turned to see half a dozen wolf coming close to them.

  Any move could cost their life.
"I'll distract them while you run" she mutters to Luciana.

  "No" she glared icily at the wolves "I'll distract them while you run".

  "But-"
 
   Luciana frowned and gave her a lotus hairpin with a small unnoticeable button in the center. She mutters, keeping her eyes out for the wolves that are now drawing closer "For once listen to me and don't do anything stupid. Find my brother, he'll know how to find me. When you see him, give him my hairpin." As she saw Renée's blank look, she makes up an excuse "it's a family heirloom. Now don't be stupid and RUN!".
  She shoves Renée to the direction she came from hoping that none of the wolves got to her before her brother and mate realizes that something was wrong and comes looking for them.

  She let out a growl when she was sure that Renée was out of earshot, her eyes were blue showing that her wolf Sasha was in control "Rogues! I'm giving you all a chance to leave so that you can save your already pathetic lives".
  The rogues growled back at her and Sasha took it as defiance "Well I gave you a chance" With that, she elongated her claws and lunges at the nearest wolf to her.

  While the battle was going on, Renée was running though the open trail like her life depended on it.
  She was worried.
  She didn't notice how tears were trailing down her cheeks
  She was scared because it's all her fault, it's all because she tried to save a wolf that probably didn't exist. Now she's paying with the blood of her innocent friend. It's all her fault that Luciana was in the woods in the first place.
  How was she going to explain to her ( Luciana's) brother and boyfriend.
  She she ran, she was unwittingly pressing on the button in the middle of the lotus hairpin, the hairpin was magically enhanced to conceal her scent.
