Amy took notes after her mother had finished talking to make sure she didn't forget the important bits or the things that applied to her. Right now, her notebook contained what the project was: Director- Beauty Rose. Bloodshed- Film. Main actors/actresses- Shadow Boom, Blaze and Crystal Seashell. Settings- Firstly, small town, three bedroom, one bathroom house, Angela's bedroom. Secondly, same location, kitchen. It continued in this pattern with different sections for the entire project. Amy needed to not only know what the different settings would be so she could help design them but as Beauty's daughter, she was also required by the entire team to know what would happen next and help make sure her mother's vision was carried out. If Sarah was the producer then Amy was like the on the ground overseer.

What she really wanted to do though was find Blaze. She was the new girl and had no idea of what Beauty was like. Amy imagined that for her, seeing the writers be killed like that in front of her was extremely traumatising. Her mother's impulse towards murder was why the studios had invested over three billion pounds into the phycological and therapy facilities they had. The therapists and phycology doctors there were some of the best in the world. Amy considered mentioning it gently to Blaze in case she wanted any help. She'd gone to talk with them on a few occasions and they were really helpful.

As people began to disperse with their assigned tasks to do, Sonic leaped out from his colouring position and hugged Amy from behind. Giving her a joyful kiss on the head, he spun her around to face him. Planting a more passionate kiss on her lips, Sonic smiled at her flushed face. He then seemed to register their mums stood on stage with them and blushed greatly before putting some distance between them.

Beauty laughed at his behaviour. "Oh please, don't stop on our account. Sarah and I were just leaving." She clicked her fingers at her friend who had interested herself in the curtain beside her. Sarah immediately jumped to attention at the sound and hurried to follow her friend, avoiding looking at her youngest son at all costs.

Sonic sighed and buried his face in her hair. "Stop me from doing that next time." He instructed Amy who laughed and kissed him softly. "I mean, I have no problem with Beauty being nearby but I do not want my Mum to see me kiss you like that!" Sonic seemed to be very genuinely distressed by this so Amy gave him a hug.

"I promise." She whispered into his neck, smiling at how wonderful this boy was. The sound of footsteps nearing them caused the two teenagers to look up and part slightly as Shadow approached them.

He walked over to his brother and shoved him with a grin. "That was very excellent Sonic, I'm sure you gave Mum some wonderful trauma just then." The younger brother retaliated by springing back and aiming high before ducking low and taking Shadow's legs out. "Hey!" He groaned as the attack brought him to his knees.

Sonic spun around to face his brother with a cocky smirk. "At least I have a happy and functioning relationship." He winked at Amy who tried very hard not to blush like a ridiculous person who couldn't control herself.

Shadow grunted as he got to his feet and looked out into the crowd. "Hey Honey!" His girlfriend looked up from where she was looking at the blood stains on the floor. Shadow waved her up and with a literal hop, skip and a jump, the assassin stood beside Amy but a great deal taller. The young artist only reached just above her breasts and Honey liked to make sure people knew she was taller than them. Even Shadow, whose height people always commented on, was just shy by an inch or two. Yet in his defense, Honey did wear four inch heel boots but even so, the point is, she's tall.

"What's up?" She asked. "Did Sonic beat you in a fight? Do you want me to kiss your bruises and make them all better?" Her tone was mocking as a grin etched itself onto her face and she high-fived the speedy teen.

Shadow sighed and gestured to the younger pair. "Sonic thinks we don't have a 'happy and functioning relationship' to quote him directly." He looked to Honey. "Therefore, I would like your honest opinion." She nodded as she turned to Sonic with a pleasant smile.

"Shadow and I are perfectly happy with our functioning relationship." The assassin rubbed his head affectionately and gave him a cookie. "Anyways Shadow." She turned to her placated boyfriend. "Now that we have our assignments, I need to practise some of the more complex make-up on you." Honey looked over to where Blaze was staring blankly at the blood on the floor. "Bring Princess as well, she also needs work." Amy made a motion as though to speak but Honey held her hand up to silence her. "I'll be a therapist and make sure she'll be okay for work, never fear." The younger girl relaxed and snuggled into Sonic's loving embrace. She turned to Shadow. "Let's go!" With a wave goodbye to the teens, the happy couple left to practice their assignments with Blaze.

Blaze followed the pair quickly as Honey practically marched them to the hair and make-up room. It was actually quite a bright room with cream coloured walls and carpets. There was a giant wardrobe to the side with two mirrors and chairs beside it. "Sit." The assassin pointed to the chairs which both stars obliged to yet Blaze didn't like the commanding tone of Honey's voice. Nevertheless, she held her tounge and watched as she prepared all the make-up.

Shadow grimaced at all the equipment. "Is all that really necessary?" He sighed as Honey continued to lay out more and more bottles, brushes and beauty products.

His girlfriend looked at him with an amused smirk. "Most of this isn't for you." She jerked her head towards Blaze who was looking curiously at the products. "As the main characters in a film with a reasonable amount of fighting and violence, you will both undergo significant make-up time to make it look like you've sustained such injuries. Angela, happens to get shot at point blank range in the cheek. Therefore, her face will be destroyed and only a plastic surgeon can recover it. So, as it is complicated, I need to practise." Honey turned to Blaze with a brush in hand. "Princess, take your hair out. I just need to confirm something with Beauty then I'll begin. Do not touch anything, including each other." She quickly hurried out the door to find her boss.

Blaze tried desperately to cool her face as Honey's comment while Shadow looked around the room. A silence settled over them but it wasn't uncomfortable. Eventually, Blaze had to speak her mind. "I haven't met or been many girlfriends in my life, but I doubt they act like Honey does." At this, Shadow laughed loudly as he turned to her. Yet Blaze picked up on some cold humour in his laugh and decided to take another angle. "When Honey mentioned you had a functioning relationship, she said you were both happy with it. Not in it." Shadow had stopped laughing by then and was looking at her curiously. Blaze hoped she hadn't crossed a line. "I don't mean to intrude, I was just-"

"No, no, relax it's okay." He reassured her with a kind smile. "You're right, Honey is a genius at wordplay. She likes to hide the real meaning in her words unless you're actually listening. Can be infuriating when you're trying to have a conversation." Shadow sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "She is complicated. It's as simple as that. Our beginnings are complicated. Our entire relationship is complicated. Honey's a flirt, I'm desperate to prove to people I'm better than my brother. He's handsome with a happy relationship, I like to think I'm handsome with a relationship only in name." Shadow looked in the mirror with a bittersweet smile. "I want what Sonic has with Amy. Honey wants the past. Simple yet complicated." Blaze hadn't expected to get all that information considering they didn't know each other very well but she sympathised with him. It clearly wasn't easy and what either of them wanted.

Shyly, she patted his hand. "Why don't you just break up if you're both unhappy?" That's what she would do.

At this, Shadow grinned at her which caused Blaze's stomach to flip. "We're both to stubborn to admit defeat."

I hope you enjoyed this chapter, I hope you all had a nice Star Wars day. This chapter was quite long I thought and I liked the contrast between both relationships. I'll update again tomorrow so adiós.
