Chapter 13

"Ingat ka roon. Always call me."

Marco hugged me after I finished putting all his clothes to his luggage. Nag-request siya na baka pwedeng dito ako matulog ngayong gabi dahil bukas na 'yung alis nila. Of course, I agreed. Mami-miss ko talaga siya.

"Noted, Ma'am." he replied and pulled me into a hug. "I'll miss you so much."

"Me, too." I replied. Bumitaw ako sa yakap at inabot ang dalawang pisngi niya. He was really tall for me. "Come back for me, hmm. No dates with Claudia."

I don't know if Claudia will also be there but with the determination of his Mamita to make the two of them date, 'di na ako magtataka kung biglang nandoon na pala 'yung Claudia sa Italy.

Natawa siya nang bahagya. "I would never date anyone else but you, Beatrice Carla."

"Good."

"Payakap nga ulit." he whispered and hugged me again. I wish we could stay like this forever.

"I wish I could spend the rest of my days here." he whispered while burrying his face on my neck.

"Yeah. Me, too, Marco."

Kumain lang kami tapos nahiga na kami sa kama. Marco was hugging me so tight the whole night. I'd miss him but I was also thinking that it's just two months. Mabilis lang 'yon kaya iniiwasan ko na malungkot nang sobra.

"I love you." I whispered and kissed his forehead when he was already asleep. We were both hugging each other. "Ikaw lang. Habang buhay na ikaw lang." I said and planted a kiss on his lips before closing my eyes.

The next morning, hinatid ako ni Marco sa bahay. 10:00 AM daw ang flight nila kaya 8:00 AM pa lang ay hinatid na niya ako dahil pupunta pa siya sa bahay nila.

"See you in two months?" I smiled.

He smiled back. "I'll see you in two months but I'll call you every night, hmm." he said, pinching my cheek lightly. "Kiss na." He pouted.

I laughed and moved closer to him to give him a quick kiss but he was quicker to put his hand on the back of my head to keep me in place.

"Marco, we are not making out in front of our house." I said in between our kissed when he started moving his lips.

"Just one more minute." he said with eagerness like he really wanted to do it. I rolled my eyes and kissed him back with the same intensity.

I don't know if one minute lang 'yon because it felt like we've been kissing for ten minutes before he pulled away.

"One minute, huh." I murmured.

Natawa siya. "Sorry na po." He leaned in to give me a soft kiss. "I'll miss you."

"Ako rin. Sige na." I caressed his cheek. "Take care, okay? I love you."

"I love you." he replied.

Marco: Touch down.

Beatrice: Enjoy!

Bumaba ako para mag-microwave ng popcorn. Madaling araw na pero hindi ako makatulog. Maybe I'll watch some movie para antukin ako.

After I microwaved my popcorn, I put it in a bowl. Umakyat na ulit ako habang bitbit ang popcorn ko. I settled myself in my study table. Kinuha ko ang Ipad ko at namili ng movie but I immediately looked at my phone when it rang, agad kong nilapag ang Ipad at kinuha ang phone sa study table nang makita na tumatawag sa FaceTime si Marco.

(Hi!) agad na bati niya. He was still wearing his light blue polo. Nakalapag sa lamesa ang phone niya habang nakatayo siya sa harap ng table at naghahanda ng pagkain niya. It seemed like he was in his room. The light was a bit orange so it was a hotel vibe room, there's a big bed behind him with white bed sheet. His room looked cozy. (Why are you still awake? Madaling araw na r'yan, right?)
