-Charlie's POV-

After we left the concert, Nick and I decided to hang out at my house. Once we entered my room, I turned and looked at Nick.

"We are going to PARIS!" I shouted, overwhelmed with excitement.

"Really?! I had no idea, Charlie!" Nick teased, lips breaking out into a smile.

"Haha, you're so hilarious Nick." I joked back.

Nick giggled, and we both laid down on my bed.

"To be honest, I can't wait to go to Paris. I've always wanted to go." Nick said, staring up at the ceiling.

"Plus, it's our first time going on a trip together!" Nick quickly added, eyes seeming to light up.

Nick's giddiness made me smile, but I began to get lost in thought about coming out as a couple that day. I had been very worried about Nick and how he was doing, especially after all the backlash he got. My worries faded into the background as I realized that Nick and I could have a date in the one and only city of love. I began to get excited again as I realized how close the trip was and how getting away from everything could help Nick. We were leaving early the next morning to spend three whole days in Paris. I couldn't wait to spend them with Nick.

-Nick's POV-

We were going to Paris that very next day, and I was ecstatic. I got to spend three whole days in the city of love with Charlie. I started to formulate a plan to take him out on a proper date. Our beach date was nice, but I wanted to up my game and really show Charlie that I cared.

As Charlie and I laid side by side, I began to think of the events that day. To be honest, it hadn't gone the way I had planned. Coming out was hard enough as it was, and the feedback I received didn't help. I tried to brush it all off and not care about other opinions, but it was difficult. Charlie had seemed to notice my struggle, and I hated when he was worried about me. I tried to push all the negatives aside though, and focus on how happy I was that I was free to be with Charlie in public. I was happy, and that's all that really mattered.

It began to get late, so Charlie and I said goodbye, and I headed home, already missing his comfort.

-Charlie's POV-

After Nick left, I decided to pack all the things I would need for the trip. While I was excited, I also became a bit anxious as well. My thoughts drifted back to Nick, and I hoped he was doing alright. I didn't like seeing him upset and couldn't help but think that part of it was my fault.

- THE NEXT DAY-

The sun had hardly risen, and we were already boarding the bus that would take us to the airport. I hadn't seen Nick yet, and I began to worry that he may have overslept. I decided to call him, and my worries were quickly eased as he explained that he was currently pulling into the school.

I made my way over to find my boyfriend (which felt absolutely amazing to say), and as I saw him, we quickly embraced one another. I hugged him tight and gave him a kiss on the cheek. I looked up at him and noticed his puffy eyes from what seemed to be from crying. He also looked like he didn't sleep at all that night. I held him in my arms, hoping he knew that I would always be there for him. Nick smiled at me and said: "Hi!" just like the day we first met. He kissed my cheek and hugged me back, seeming to melt into it.

After we pulled apart, we approached the bus hand in hand.

The bus ride wasn't too bad, but I knew the plane ride would be.

We were currently in the airport, dropping our luggage off onto the rack and waiting at our gate as our teacher did a head count.

As we waited, I could feel my excitement seemingly bursting throughout my body. This was really happening. I was going to Paris with Nick.

A while later, we were finally boarding the plane. As we settled down into our seats, I held Nick's hand and gave him a smile.

He looked at me and slightly hesitated before speaking.

"Um, Char, I never going to admit I said this, but I'm kind of scared of planes."

I giggled at his serious facial expression and tried my best to reassure him. He held my hand tighter and laid his head on my shoulder as we prepared for takeoff.

We were on the plane for hours, and somewhere along the way, Nick fell asleep on me.

I looked at how adorable he was when he slept and began to ponder why such a gorgeous boy like him would want to go out with someone like me.

In all honesty, I thought he could do better, but I never told him such.

We were together now, and that's all that mattered. I couldn't even imagine my life without him.

-HOURS LATER-

After what felt like forever, we finally landed in Paris. It was nighttime by then, and we were all ready to go to the hotel we were staying at. We got to the hotel by bus, and when we arrived, the teachers told us our room arrangements, and as I hoped, I was put in a room with Nick. I smiled and kissed his cheek which he blushed at and smiled sheepishly back at me. Our teacher Mrs. Dee had already lectured us on the bus about how this trip's purpose was for our education, though I still hoped we would get to do some sightseeing and I could possibly have a date with Nick as well.

As Nick and I entered our room, he stopped and concerningly glanced at me.

"Charlie, are you alright with sharing a bed?"

I blushed at the question and quickly told him I was okay with it. We took our showers separately, had a small snack, and put on more comfortable clothing for bed.

As we both laid down on the bed, I felt safe as I felt Nick's arms wrap around me. I immediately fell asleep due to jetlag and how comfortable Nick's cuddles were.

Falling asleep next to Nick was comforting, and I don't think I've ever had a night of such wonderful sleep.
