Chapter 17. Adam

I had almost forgot that I'm meeting nicks brother again I tried to forget about it but something about Adam intimidated me but I was trying to be prepared for the worst. I tried to imagine that he was already here and everything went good but I'm so wrong he would be here any minute now 5 minutes as the clock ticked down to seeing him my got my spaghetti and meatballs out of the oven and waited for Nick and nella to meet me downstairs.

4 minutes I whispered I wasn't ready. I wasn't ready to see Adam. I didn't know how my anxiety was already acting up now thinking bout this it just made me scared to even say anything. 3 minutes I whispered just 3 more minutes and Adam will walk right thought that door.

My anxiety level went higher almost in panic attack form like what will Adam think of his brother's boyfriend what will Nick do if things escalated what happens. 2 minutes I still wasn't ready. I tried to pull myself together as much as possible I really did I couldn't show Nick I was scared of what Adam thought of me. Less than 12 seconds I needed to get myself together. Just then I heard Adams car pull into our driveway my nerves were shot.

This was it this was me meeting Adam after 3 years. It's time I whispered to myself. Nick came downstairs with Nella finally. Next think I knew Adam was knocking on our door *knock knock knock* my anxiety shouted at me to run and hide but I faced my fear or tried. Nick opened the Door and greated his Brother Adam, Nick invited him in, this was it! I set the table in the kitchen with plates of food and gave Nella hers as Nick was bring Adam my way.
