Ran's POV

I stopped the car as soon as i reached the parking lot.

I went outside and walk at the corridor to go to my office. A lot of employees greeted me whenever they saw me walking passed by them.

Before entering my office, i went to Rindou's office first to take a look if he's already there.

But i saw no one, maybe he's gonna be late so i just ignore it and continue going to my office.

I sat down at my chair as i opened my laptop to start my work

Few hours later, i stretched my body as i felt exhausted by this work i was doing. I suddenly thought of grabbing some coffee to gain more energy this morning

I went outside my office and go to Rindou's office, thinking of offering him to accompany me.

"Rindou-" i stopped when i didn't saw him

He's taking absent again even tho i told him not to.

I grabbed my phone from my pocket and call him but he's not answering the phone

Suddenly, i felt kinda worried out of nowhere without any reason. Or maybe something happened to him that's why i felt this?

"Geez, still hard headed like before" i commented as i closed the door.

I continue walking until i reached the coffee machine at the cafeteria.

There was an employee came on it first so i just wait for a minute beside her

When she notice me, she suddenly stopped and told me to used it first

"No no, ladies first. It's not about the position, you came first so let me wait here" i replied, giving her a smile

"Thank you sir" she said politely and starts refilling his cup

I'm just watching the machine refilling his cup by the coffee when she suddenly started a conversation

"Sir, may i ask?"

I looked at her shy expression

"Sure"

"Does sir Rindou took an absent?" She asked as she took a glance on me

I chuckled when i suddenly felt like i wanna tease her

"I-it's not that mean-" her words cut off when i interrupt

"Really? So you're not worried for him? Or just denying it~" I replied teasingly while giving her a smile

I saw her expression turn light red as she immediately grabbed her cup

"I-I'm done, thanks for waiting sir" She said then hurriedly walked out

It makes me wanna burst a laughter here

I continue my goal of going here, which is taking a morning coffee.

While waiting for the machine to finish refilling, i suddenly got a notification

I looked at it and saw Rindou message me

"Brother, sorry for not coming today. I woke up late and was too tired to move" He said

I opened that message and replied him

"What did you do last night then?" i asked

There was a cloud-looking pop up, signaling that he was typing. But it was fading and will come back, fading again and will come back. Just what the hell is he hesitating?!
