Rindou's POV

I'm on our way to the company

As soon as i arrived at my office, i began working like what i always do

An hour had passed, i was busy typing on my keyboard when i suddenly received a phone call

i stretched my body before taking my phone beside my laptop

There, i saw my step sister giving me a message

"We're going now brother" she informed since i went back to their place yesterday after visiting Haru in jail. Just to tell her that i will go with them so she need to inform me first

I immediately stood up and ran hurriedly to my brother's office

"Brother!" I yelled as i saw him holding a file

"yeah?"

"I'm going now, can i take the key of your car?"

"wait- are you done already?" He asked as he put the files down

I approached him, seeing him taking something in his pocket

"i'll finish it later, i promise" i replied as he handed me the key

"Okay then, take care" he respond yet i didn't take a look at him anymore. I just directly went outside to go to the parking lot

Before driving off, i grabbed my phone to inform my step sister to wait for me before meeting my fiancee.

I went out of the car, seeing Ren from distance while Dad was standing beside her

"Brother!" She yelled out my name with a smile on her face as she also wave her hand

i approached them, feeling the gaze of my father

"Am i late?" I asked

"nah, just on time" she replied as she went beside me

We began walking while Dad stay behind us

"Here for Haruchiyo sir?" The guard asked and i just nodded as response

Mucho and i often visit here so they already knew that we're here for him

we wait for him for minutes until he came, handcuffing his hands as usual

I took a glance on our Dad, signalling that they may start now

I walked to the corner of the room so i can watch them from distance

Dad touched her shoulder when we noticed that she began moving her fingers unconsciously

"Ren...right?" Haru said calmly

she just nodded without giving him a glance

"I-I'm sorry for what i've done in the past..."

i gulp out of nervousness, seeing my step sister's reaction by seeing him

"i know i can't change the fact that i scared you... but I'll do anything for you to forgive me..." he added, lowering his head

"A-anything you want... once i get out of here, i'll earn your forgiveness"

i saw that he's also nervous, i clench my fist as i began mumbling something

"i hope they're fine..."

"I-i also want peace" we heard Ren uttered

"I want to get rid of that memory, i-if you're sincere then... i'll wait for that"
