In this chapter, the reader is a deity like Yae is. And the reader is an artist, since artists are sexy /j

For as long as you could remember, you've always been one of Yae Miko's assistants. You couldn't even remember how long you've been with her, by her side. If you were to really do the math, you could just about calculate around 100 years or so. Was that a long time? Even a deity as young as you couldn't tell.

You liked to say that you anticipated it, but you honestly did not. It was only a matter of time before you grew quite fond of Yae Miko herself. From the moment that you were brought into Teyvat's Inazuma, you've heard all about her. The fact that she sold books, and the fact that...she wasn't human. Very much like you.

You were glad that the ship you were on didn't get caught in a storm from Mondstadt to Inazuma. You were afraid, since the day that you left the front gates of the city to board a ship, the skies were grayed and stormy. It was a shame that you hadn't managed to sell one of your most well-done artworks, but it was good that you managed to get a deal with Mondstadt's artist, Albedo.

When you opened the door to you and Miko's shared home, you were immediately greeted with the scent of paper. Fresh paper right out of the printer, or slightly older, frayed, and tea-stained paper. But you couldn't find your lover, the one that you had given your heart to. Where was she?

Far too tired to say anything, you sat down, pouring yourself some tea before bringing the sweet, refreshing liquid to your lips. When you felt the warmth of the drink warm up your frozen fingers, you sighed, closing your eyes in content. And that was when you felt a finger slide up your jaw, towards your ear.

"Mm~" Miko's voice cooed as you opened your eyes, bringing your lips to her palm. "Welcome back, cutie."

"Miko," you whispered, smiling into her hand, "how have you been lately?"

"I've been waiting for your return for ages, my love." She took a seat on your legs, leaning her cheek against her shoulder. "I believe that you were in Mondstadt. How did your business trip go?"

At that, you scowled. How did it go? "Hm...it's something to discuss later." You decided on saying, hiding your face in her chest, (titties OwO) and closed your eyes. You were fatigued, your body turning to mush when you felt Miko hum against your neck. You wouldn't trade this feeling of home and comfort for anything else in the world.
