Being with Yoimiya meant that your life was quite literally the definition of life is a box of chocolates. Probably even more literal than you'd expect. Apart from the large, detailed shows that included her immaculate fireworks, Yoimiya seemed to be quite keen on treats and sweets. All while bringing an immense amount of fun.

This has got to be the one thousandth or so scavenger hunt that you've reluctantly agreed to participate in.

"Uh...is this supposed to be-"

"It's your paper that contains all the clues!" Yoimiya said cheerfully as she grabbed onto your shoulders, turning you towards the city. "I've hidden each uh..."

"Item that's included in the scavenger hunt." You finished, staring dully at her messy writing that was scribbled on the paper. Then a splotchy, hurried heart that was coloured in red.

"Yeah, that!" She beamed. "Oh, and just so you know, it's all around here, so don't go wandering off into some other island or something..."

"I know, Yoimiya. I'm not you." You reminded her gently, gazing down at her as she wandered in front of you, putting a fist against your chest.

"Good luck!"

"Thanks, Yoimiya." You muttered, giving her a small smile as she bolted off, waving at you happily. That left you alone, looking at the words that Yoimiya wrote on her little piece of paper that she gave you. It explained the rules quite well. It wasn't like you couldn't guess the rules of this game anyways. Unless this was completely different from the former scavenger hunts that Yoimiya has planned for you. Knowing Yoimiya, you were expecting a big surprise at the end.

"Greetings, traveler." Ayaka spoke to you at the front of the Kamisato Estate once you arrived at the steps. She had her dainty hands tucked together in her lap as she sat, falling to her sides slowly as she stood to greet you.

Thoma and Ayato were the next to stand, placing their hands together as they bowed to meet you. "Ahoy there!" Thoma said gleefully. "I knew you'd have no problem getting here."

"There's no way that she actually told you all to act as a part of this." You sighed, bringing your hands to your face out of shame.

"Oh, we don't mind at all, actually." Ayaka reassured you, reaching out for your shoulder. "Right, brother? Isn't it nice to have a little break?"

Ayato hummed in agreement.

"She actually got Childe and then The Raiden Shogun to do this too..." Thoma muttered.

"THE RAIDEN SHOGUN?!" You shrieked, feeling a little faint.

Ayato brought a finger to his lips. "Hush." He looked you straight in the eye, smiling slyly. "Are you ready for your first challenge against me, traveler?"

Childe's challenge has got to be the most painful challenge of them all. After getting absolutely crushed by his whale looking thing, you swore to the archons that you'd never interact with the Fatui Harbinger again. And yet, you weren't too surprised that he was such good friends with Yoimiya.

Your interaction with The Raiden Shogun, or Ei, was enough to make you puke into a barrel for the rest of the day. Who knew such a dignified archon could eat such sweet things? And consume so much at once? It was almost enough to make you want to trek back home instead of continuing to your final destination.

That cliff you were trekking to looked like heaven right now. If this were the desert in Sumeru, you'd swear that the peak of the cliff would look like an oasis to you. With the three boxes of chocolates that you've been awarded with from each of your challengers, you finally collapsed.

There it was. The last note that was taped against a rock.

OPEN THE BOXES, LOVE!!

Was what it read.

Winded, you opened them. The chocolates were molded into the letter I.

You opened the second. The letter L. Then the letter Y as the last.

"I-L-Y?" You spelt out. You raised an eyebrow, stumbling backwards when you heard a firework getting set off all the way across the large pool of water that sat below the cliff, right against the orange, darkening sky. You used your arms to prop yourself up, staring up at the sky in awe.

They were all red. Red and bright. Brighter than Yoimiya was. As they faded, they seemed to blend into the sky. Then just as you thought it was over, so many more were released. You had to say, you were so in awe with these things, that you didn't even notice Yoimiya behind you. You only blinked when she bit your cheek, drawing a small squeak out of you.

"I actually timed these, so that we would be here for a while. AND that you'd arrive here right at sunset." She put her hands on her hips. "Are you proud of me, Y/N?"

Tired, you hummed a response, falling forward against her chest. You heard her laugh at you, reaching out to pet your head gently.

"You're not mad that I made you do all that, right?"

"No, definitely not." You closed your eyes. Then you opened them again, turning to the side. You'd love to take a nice, long nap right now. But with these fireworks in front of you? There's no way you can pass out now. You might as well enjoy what she's done for you, right?

"Hehe..."

"This entire day was a little out of pocket, though."

"Well," she hummed, readjusting you into a more comfortable position. "You know the saying, right? Life is a box of chocolates!"
