As she steps in, she could tell that it was freshly decorated, it had that new apartment smell, feel, vibe, everything. It was light and airy, very minimalistic, with light sky blue walls and white ceramic tiles. To her immediate left, she sees the bedroom. The white door was slightly opened, just enough for her to see the bed with dark blue sheets, covered with an abstract blue duvet, and an ash grey padded bench at the end of the it. And adjacent to that, a single seater, ash grey armchair, placed close enough to the white sheer curtains that hung over what seems like dark grey drapes. The room had a soft red glow from the light on the stand beside the bed, illuminating enough for her to see the floor covered with a grey carpet.

She turned her attention to her right, where the white door leads directly into the bathroom. The oval marble basin, stands without any cupboards; and there's a Led backlit oval mirror hanging on the wall above it. There's a silver towel rack with dark blue towels, and on the floor a soft plush dark blue oval carpet, directly below the basin. On the wall outside of the bathroom, leading into the passage way, there's a fully white octagon shaped side table with lilies on top, where Jay placed his key card after closing the door behind them. Jenny then looks ahead, and sees a rather modern style living room table: round with a white ceramic top, four iron legs, four beetle chairs pushed underneath, and a female torso sculpted vase on top, with lilies inside. "He must really like lilies" she thought, as she continued to look around.

To the left of the table, there's a dark blue, corduroy, L-shaped sofa, pushed against the wall; ash grey drapes hung over the huge, industrial style, windows, parted enough to show the view of the neighboring buildings. There's a long console table to the right, pushed against the wall, "surprisingly not white" Jenny thought, but it had a wooden finish, having a couple books laid out across it's surface. There's a partition that separates the kitchen from the living area, and an Island in between, she notices as she follows Jay towards it. Theres a double door white closet beside the kitchen, which she assumed was the laundry room. In the kitchen, there's a silver, whirlpool, double door refrigerator, with an Ice maker; there's a silver and black whirlpool flat top 4 burner stove, a silver and black whirlpool microwave and dishwasher. "Apparently a whirlpool ambassador" chuckled Jenny internally. The cupboards and drawers were all white with glass doors, so as to clearly show the Black topped Tupperware, fancy dining dish set (all black), the drinking and wine glasses, along with 4 white coffee mugs. The counter tops were also marble white, and the floor had the same tile as rest of the apartment.

"What would you like to drink?"  Jay asked, bringing Jenny's attention to his smiling face, " Water is fine" she answered, "Well I'm sorry, but we've been in water this whole time, so we will not be having more of it." He looked at her expectantly, slightly tilting his head to the left, as if prompting her to debate. "Okay then weirdo. Fine, I'll have wine." responded Jenny eyeing him suspiciously. "Red or White?" Jay asked, "It doesn't matter, either works." She answered. "I like women who don't have a preference when it comes to wine." Jay countered. "Oh, but I didn't say I didn't have a preference, just that in this moment, either would be fine" Jenny corrected. "Ohhhkaaayy" Jay threw his hands up, and backed off playfully "My bad for the assumptions" he smiled, "have a seat, make yourself comfortable, I'll bring you a glass." Jenny smirked and headed over to the couch, removed her coat, placed it over the arm of the sofa, rests her bag against it and took a seat. Normally she would take off her boots, but she didn't see him take his off, so she decided to leave them on.

Jay pulls out a chilled bottle of '19 Crimes' red wine from the refrigerator, pours two glasses, makes his way over to Jenny and hands her a glass, while he takes a sip and takes her appearance in, again. "So since I didn't get the book I was looking for, the recipe I wanted will have to be postponed till another date, and we'll have something simple for dinner." advised Jay as he studied Jenny's facial expression. " I don't mind at all, sometimes simple is good," she replied as she took the glass being handed to her. "Are you a chef on the side?" She continued, as she twirled the wine a little before giving it a sip, "Oh  I wish, but no, I just like trying different recipes to see how they turn out!" He answered gleefully. Jenny laughed and took another sip from her glass. "I'm gonna get started on dinner" he said as he moved off, and made his way back to the kitchen. "Alrighty, you do that." Jenny answered supportingly. They continued with little chit chats about the weather, the bees and the trees; literally, as Jay had said they could talk about anything, and Jenny chose those topics out of mere indifference.

After about 30 minutes, Jay shouted with glee, "Voila!! Dinner is ready!" Jenny got up and went to the island, placed her wine glass down, and asked "What's for Dinner" as she leaned over to see what he was dishing out. "Mac&Cheese with delectable Tuscan chicken breast strips! And a side of broccoli of course, gotta have a balance meal and all that jazz." he replied with a boyish grin. "Luckily I eat meat." Jenny laughed and answered,"Yes, very luckily indeed..." Jay countered with a smirk. Jenny giggled, as they both knew what meat they were talking about. She grabs the place mats and head over to the dining table to do the set up, while he started to serve. As they sit down to eat, he pours them both another glass of wine and placed the bottle in the center of the table. They sat and had the most genuinely animated conversation; about any and everything, including books, travels, astrology and Toy Story 3 (which turned into a heated debate as to who liked Buzz Lightyear more).
