Chapter 3: The Date

CHAPTER 3

"You?!" I glared at him.

"You already know each other?" dad asked "Should I leave you now guys? Elloise, ikaw na ang bahala kay Andrew."

At tuluyan ng umalis si Dad at iniwan kami sa sala.

"What are you doing in here?" I asked him.

"Di ba sabi ko date tayo? Kapag ako ay may gustong gawin, mangyayari yun." Nakangiti niyang sinabi sa akin.

"What if I don't want? So hindi na yun mangyayari, right? I guess this conversation is over. Since I don't have plans to date you, you'll better be going." then I gave him a fake smile.

"Sige. Aalis na ako. Papaalam lang ako kay Tito. Sasabihin ko na ayaw mo."

"No." I frowned as I looked at him irritated. "Let's go."

I can feel that he smirked. Aish. This is irritating.

Lumabas na ako ng bahay at sumunod siya sa akin.

What the hell am I doing? Kung hindi lang dahil sa kotse, credit card at allowance ko, di ako papayag sa date na ito. Shit. I hate it.

"Hindi ka ba mag-aayos muna o magpapalit ng damit?" tanong sa akin ni retarded. From now on, I'll call him retarded. He's annoying like a retarded kiddo.

After he asked that, I looked at my clothes. I'm wearing a simple plain pink shirt, shorts and a havaianas slippers. Pambahay in short.

"Why? Is there something wrong with these?" sabay turo ko sa damit ko. Then I looked at him while frowning. "If you don't want what I'm wearing right now and if you think it will make you feel embarrassed then cancel this date." I raised a brow and folded my arms.

"Hindi. Maganda ka pa rin naman kahit basahan pa ang suotib mo." He smiled.

I just looked at him for few seconds. Then he opened the front seat door and I hop in.

Sumakay na din siya at pinaandar na ang kotse.

"Saan mo gustong pumunta?" pagbasag niya sa katahimikan.

"You asked me for a date yet you don't have a plan? Oh. How exciting." I told him sarcastically.

"Malay mo lang may suggestion ka. Di ba?"

"I don't care what you want to do with this date. Wala ako ni-katiting na pakielam dyan sa date na yan. So do whatever makes you satisfied and after this, just leave me alone."

Tumingin na lang ako sa labas ng bintana. Konti na lang, maasar na ako. Patience. Patience, Elloise. Car...Credit card...Allowance....Keep that on mind. After this date, you'll get those.

What's with this guy? Masyadong desidido na ilagay ako sa chick list niya? Sorry for you, not interested. Do you even think that I will like you? Keep on dreaming peasant.

"Ah, Elloise, Anong paborito mong pagkain?" tanong niya sa akin.

Tiningnan ko lang siya with blank expression at ibinalik na ang tingin sa labas ng bintana.

Rude? Yes. I want to scare him away. I want him to leave me alone. I don't need him and will never be.

After thirty minutes, we're already here at the amusement park. Pinagbuksan niya ako ng pinto tapos lumabas na ako ng kotse. How sweet. Insert sarcasm.

"Kumain muna tayo." Aya niya sa akin.

"Okay." I said coldly.

Sumunod lang ako sa kanya papunta sa isang food stall.
