Chapter 14: New Sister

Kinwento lahat sa akin ni Ella ang nangyari. She's a brat before pa. She's a bully, no real friends so nasanay na siya na parents lang niya ang pinagsasabihan niya ng lahat. She's someone who doesn't trust easily so it's hard on her na naiwan mag-isa.

It's been two weeks pa lang since her parents past away. Wala daw siyang pinagsasabihan. Afraid of being called weak and to pity her. Medyo mataas ang pride bilang isang bata. Hays. Sumakit ang bangs ko. But I totally understand her. I told her that it won't be the right thing to stacked her pains inside. Na nagpapanggap lang siya na okay siya kahit hindi. At yung pagtataboy niya sa tao ay hindi isang solusyon.

And the thing that makes me feel happy right now is when I saw that smile. Another thing that she's not that bad. Actually she is kind.

"Eloise, we need to go. Baka nag-aalala na si Tito." pag-interrupt ni Andrew.

"Ate you need to go na? Not yet, please?" the she pouted. Cute talaga. Sana kapatid ko na lang siya.

"We need to eh. I'll be back tomorrow. Promise."

"Can I just come with you instead?"

"Unfortunately, no. I want to but they won't let you."

"Please."

"I'll be back tomorrow. Promise."

I kissed her on her forehead and gave her a tight hug before we leave. Labag sa kalooban ko ang iwan siya. But I don't have a choice. I can't take her with me. That cute little thing, I wish she can be my sister.

Andrew dropped me home and said his goodbye to me as soon as I am in front of our house. And he immediately drove again to his house. It's a tiring day so I guess he's rushing to go home and sleep.

Pagkabukas ko ng pinto walang tao. As usula, sino ba ang tatao sa bahay namin. Ako lang at mga katulong. Dad is in his office, I guess. And the maids, well, they are on their work so hindi sila makikitang pahara-hara sa kung saan-saan.

But unfortunately, I was shocked when someone greeted on me. 

"How's the date?" asked by the guy in front of me. Si dad.

"Nothing romantic yet fun. Actually parang hindi si Andrew ang kadate ko. And it's a good thing. He brought me to an orphanage." I chirpedd happily. He gave me a confused look. 

"Orphanage?" he asked. I just nodded. "So what happened?"

Wait. Kelan pa si Dad naging intrigero? I laughed mentally but I guess Dad read my mind and gave me a confused look. But I shrugged it off and answered his question.

"I had fun with the kids. Buti na lang Dad dun niya ako dinala. Mabonored lang ako kung kami lang pareho ang magkasama. There's a kid out there na sobrang tab. Ang cute niya Dad. She acted like a adult and I found it amusing and cute. Tapos may isang kid dun na pinopormahan ako. Which is kinda awkward pero in a cute way. Ang cute nilang lahat. I had fun." I smiled as I remember all the things that happened a while ago. Ang saya sa feeling ng bata. I am a fan of them. Siguro sa lahat ng tao na hindi ko papakitaan ng mean ay sila. They are adorable to be treated that way. And they are so---- ugh. Just cute. At lalo na si Ella---. "Dad, can I have a favor?"

"You seemed have fun. And it's the first time again that I saw those smiles on your face. Anything that will make you happy." he smiled at me. Smile that I really love to see on his face.

"Dad, kasi may little girl du sa orphanage na nagcatch talaga ng attention ko. I really like her. Imagine, Dad, para siyang small version ko. Brat for short. And I really like her. She gave me a hard time at first pero nung matanggal ko na ang maskara na pilit niyang sinusuot, she's actually a kind and good kid."
