On the top floor of your build heading back to your office you see your assistant "Yamato, got any paperwork for me?" "Yes, just got the paperwork from the robbery this morning." He says while handing you the paperwork "Thank you" you say walking to your office. " all these reporter's and press is not what I wanted the week. Shit, I still need to try and get ahold of Giran." You thought as you pulled out your phone for the first time since this morning. As you look at your phone you see you've got 1 missed calls and 10 txt as well. "Ughhhhhh" Looking at your message the first one you read from your best friend since you were little was todoroki fuyumi. ~umi~ ummm did I miss something? ~umi~ hello ~umi~ oh, guess I'm not your best friend anymore ~umi~ now not answering my calls 😒 ~umi~ call me when you've got time please. After reading her last txt you decided to go head and call her back. The phone rings only once "hey umi, I can ex..." umi "explain, yeah you better. Bc I turn on the news this morning to see my bbf kicking ass and saving the day but in hawks jacket! Why didn't you tell me you two were talking and..." "umi, it's not like that. I know this isn't going to help my case but I was over and his place last night bc..." " You were at his place? How close are you guys?..." " would you let me finish please" you say as her side finally got quite for you to explain. " I was there bc we have a mission together. That's why I was there..." umi, " but why are you wearing his jacket then?" She asked in a snarky yet protective tone. "I was going to wear my hero jacket this morning but I haven't had the chance to do my laundry and it was the only one I had that kinda matched my hero suit" you explain knowing that it wasn't going to be the end of the conversation. Umi," that still doesn't explain how you even got the jacket?" " it got really cold last night and before I left for home he handed "more like laid on me" his jacket so I wouldn't freeze on my way home." "Awwwwwwwww" umi said making you roll your eyes "shut up, it's not like we are dating" " that sounds more like a wish than a statement" umi teasing you about it. Looking back at your messages you see hawks sent you a few txt to." Fuck" ~ Red bird~ someone's popular this morning. ~ Red bird~ nice new jacket you got there. " why does life never give me a break" ~Red bird~ Looking good by the way, also nice work on that robbery. "Looking good,what?????" Reading his last message which makes you blush a little bit " I don't even know how to respond to that.." As you ignore hawks all together bc you just don't know what to even say you look at an unknown number in your phone that has also messaged you "I don't like that jacket on you...💙" was all the message said " who the hell is this and how did they even get my number" you thought as you looked over the number to see of you recognize it. You decided not to delete it to try and see if you can run the number later. " what's why that blue heart also?" Backing out of your message and into your contacts you find Giran's number. "I hope this still works" you thought as you type your message to him. "Hey it's Phoenix, can we meet?" Is all you put not knowing if he even still had the same numerous or would even reply. Putting your phone down on your office deck and starting to feel tired from all the stress earlier you head out and to the full kitchen on this floor to grab yourself an energy drink. This and the main floor only having full stocked kitchens in the whole building. Walking through the office like setting towards the kitchen Yamato stops you " you should look at the hero Twitter, you the top trending topic right now" he said with a huge smile but knowing you hate publicity changing his smile almost immediately. " I sent think I want to" you say quietly, knowing it's probably all about you and Hawks dating or rumors that aren't good. "Thank you for telling me though Yamato " you say giving him a small bow and him giving one back as you now continue to the fridge. Once opening the fridge to grab what you wanting and not seeing it in there " you've got to be kidding me" you say under your breathe. Walking fast right back past Yamato almost in full sprint. "I'm going back out" you yell as you past him towards the roof exit. "Be safe" he yells back "never" you yell turning back to him before heading out the door with a smile on both your faces. Once on the roof Looking out at the city on the edge of the roof you take off.

Hawks pov
After the txt to Y/N after the robbery

"Well that was an odd question" he thought while flying over the city on his early morning patrol. " I wonder how mad she would actually be if I did buy her a dress? God this morning is boring" he thought with his mind racing from boredom. " God I'm hungry, I wonder what color she would look good in. Red? Black? Oh maybe purple? I don't even know what size she wears though." He kept thinking and he started to smell something good and heading towards the food stand selling yakitori. Landing in front of the vendor and ordering 4 from them" maybe I can get help from someone in her office?" He thought as he grabbed the food and paid the vendor. As he walked down the street eating his food " but who would be willing to help? I don't know if she even has an assistant?" As he was walking he's phone got off from getting a txt. Pulling his phone out and seeing it was from y/n. ~blue bird~ " you think your so funny don't you also thanks" " I thought I was ~bluebird~ " your lucky we patrol different area's" " ands why's that blue birdie" ~bluebird~" ok im burning the jacket" "awww don't take it out on the jacket now" ~bluebird~ "your so annoying" "you know you like the jacket or else you wouldn't have worn it" "Well at least I know she's not at the office" he thought to himself still walking. Throwing his the sticks away as he passes a trashcan and looking up y/n's agency's number. Dailing the number it only rang once when "Phoenix agency" says a lady on the other end of the line. "Yes, is blue Phoenix available?" Hawks asked the lady. " I'm sorry she's currently out but I can send you to her assistant to give her a message for you." " Yes, that would be greatly appreciated" " and who may I say is call to let him know" she asks "hawks" " oh, umm ok right away sir" she said quietly and fast from being nervous. A few seconds of silence while hawks waited to get transferred to y/n's assistant. " hello sir hawks, how may I help you" Yamato said trying to not seem nervous over the phone. " just the man I needed" "Yes, sir" Yamato said kinda confused "I got a mission that I need help with and your my only hope" " umm sir, I'm not sure how I could help." Yamato says still confused " well I need to know something that you would probably know" Hawks says " depends on what it is" still very confused "what is y/n's measurements?" Hawks say very bluntly. " her measurements sir?" "Yeah like her clothing size" Hawks now getting confused by his remarks. "Oh, let me look" Yamato say as hawks Flys to the top of a building to get more privacy. " yes I have them right here, may I ask why you need them sir?" Yamato asks " Well just between the two of us. I wanted to buy y/n something but she can't know about it" Hawks says in kind of a whisper like he was telling Yamato a secret. " oh I understand, my lips are sealed sir" Yamato whispered back "do you have an email I can send this to?" Yamato asked "yes you can send it to fastestherohawks@gmail.com" Hawks shyly says scratching the back of his head. " email sent sir, is that all you needed?" Yamato asks again making sure he doesn't forget anything. " no thank you, ummm I never got your name" "Yamato sir" "thank you, Yamato have a good day." "You as well sir" and with that they both hung up their phones. "I hope she doesn't get to mad at me for this."
