˗ ˏ ˋ It was the same night yet the fifth time there was a party at the Taylor's house.

It was a large mansion, more than fifteen rooms and a large lawn coupled with a swimming pool on the roof. It was a dream, exactly why everyone was jealous of the two of them.

Both Evan and Owen grew up in the same snobbish, rich household. Yet the two were very different. Evan might have been the older brother though he was definitely more spoiled.

He never thought it necessary to be kind to the ones around him and refrain from being his usual agitated self. However Owen on the other hand was very different. He too had pride in his family's wealth but he was much more considerate, well at least compared to his brother.

The mansion was crowded with teenagers. Some drunk and absolutely out of control while others danced about the house.

But what was the centre of attention you may ask? Well it was none other than Ray and her new boyfriend. Ray and Hugo were officially dating, and to be completely honest no one saw it coming.

Hugo was a nervous, clingy yet an adorable young man but Ray, oh god Ray. Ray would come off as a loving youth but she wasn't only sunshine and rainbows. She loved talking about life and he loved to listen, so one way or the other they were perfect for each other.

The party was only supposed to be a close circle of Rays friends, but soon it became an event for half of the school.

Evan was shut out up in his room which was next to one of the twelve bathrooms in the entire house. He preferred to doodle on his homework and listen to music whilst his younger brother had a huge party downstairs. He was not one who enjoyed parties.

All of Evan's friends including Daniel had come without neither Evan's nor Owen's permission. I mean what do you expect? Their Evans friends.

He had no idea that all his 'amigos' were having the time of their lives in his house, in a party they weren't invited too. All the girls were dancing in the living room while the boys tried to balance cups of juice on their heads in the kitchen, except Freddie. He was always on his phone.

The house was illuminated with purple and blue disco lights in one corner and on the other people were playing ping pong.
Ariana and Will were making out next to the large television while Hugo and Ray were all over each other near the kitchen counter lined with all types of drinks.

"Thank you so much for this Owen." Ray said excitedly with her arm entwined with her boyfriends.

"No problem, glad you guys are together." He said drinking a whole cup of orange juice.

"No really man, this is awesome. What about your girlfriend?" Hugo muttered still blushing from Ray's presence.

"Oh yeah um I don't have one." Owen mumbled casually.

"Hey babies how's the party going for you two?" Came Zoey's signature sassy voice. Zoey was a tall girl with green eyes, she almost always had a hair clip on her straight blonde hair and bright sunglasses on whether she was inside or outside.

"It's amazing." Ray and Hugo said almost at once and bursted into laughter.

"You guys are so cute." She said and the four of them strode into conversation.

"Where's Will?" Owen asked looking around him. "Oh wait never mind our boys having a spit game with his girlfriend."

The others let out low snorts until Nina came towards them.

"Hey guys hope your having fun. Owen where's the bathroom?" She asked playing with her ring.

"Upstairs. Door on the right." He told her happily and poured himself his fifth cup of lemonade.

"Thanks, see you guys later."

Nina walked up the stairs as she looked at Sydney accidentally knocking over a shelf of books. She rolled her eyes at Evan's friends and continued on her path.

Nina turned right hoping to come to the bathroom but she was met with two doors. What did Owen say? Door on the right? What the fuck does that even mean? There were two doors. She sighed and opened the first one praying that she wasn't going to walk in on someone making out.

On the bright side, it wasn't someone making out. However it did happen to be Evan's room with none other than Emo Evan lying on his bed scribbling on his school book.

"What the hell?!" He muttered. Evan abruptly closed his history book and took off his headphones as he spotted Nina standing before him.

"You have got to be kidding me." Nina whispered under her breath and took a long sigh.

"Why are you here?" Evan spat with a disgusted frown.

"I should be the one asking you. Why are you here?" She mumbled in an even more irritated tone.

"What do you mean why I'm here this is literally my house." He growled and she rolled her eyes once again.

There was silence for a few seconds until Evan just shook his head in agitation and went back to drawing on his homework.

Nina stood there staring at him, looking at what he was doing.

"You might want to add a cross hatching to that eye." She muttered with her arms folded.

He looked up in confusion.

"Your drawing. Your making an eye right? Try and add hatching on it." Nina continued as she walked towards him and looked down on his small sketch.

"I didn't ask for your advice. Plus I don't even know what that is." He muttered rudely.

"Wow your more self absorbed than I thought Emo Evan. Can I use your bathroom?"

Evan looked at her in sheer puzzlement once again.

"Why?" He inquired.

"I came here looking for the bathroom, can I just use yours?"

"Yeah ok." He dismissed the conversation and Nina went inside.

Even looked at the door as she walked past it and closed it. He sighed. What the hell was her problem? Every time she was around him it made his blood boil. She was the bane of his existence, the worst part of his day.

She was like a sting from a bee. It only happened sometimes, but when it did it was something you wouldn't get rid of for the rest of the week. It was agitating, it hit your nerves and meddled with your mind.

Evan was forced out of his thoughts as Nina came out of the washroom.

"Why do you have women products in your  bathroom?" She asked in a humorous tone.

"Get out." He muttered and she headed for the door with a small 'jeez.'

"Oh and by the way your friends are downstairs knocking over book shelves. Thought you should know."

"Wait WHAT?!" He yelled.

With that Nina sneered and left. ˎˊ ˗
