˗ ˏ ˋ ♪ 'GUYS TRANS-PARENT MEANS YOUR PARENTS ARE TRANS,' Sydney screamed at the top of her very large lungs.

Evan sighed, rolled his eyes and gave a disappointed glance at her. He had to correct everyone, it was in his nature.

'On god. Talk about butchering the definitions of words. This is why our community is devolving. Transparency is essentially the opposite of opaqueness where something can be see-through and where light can pass through a surface.'

He folded his arms and stood gruffly, the brown curly strands on his head blowing every now and then in the gentle autumn breeze. He had a playful way of acting somewhat agitated, yet he was the type of person who'd rather be by himself.

'Literally no one gives a flying fuck', Meg yelled as she dragged her feet towards the group, coming from the basketball court with May. She tied her long black hair in a ponytail and put her arm around the other girl, both of them sweating from the excessive running.

'EVAN, I DON'T NEED YOUR INPUT ON THIS. I HAVE THE RIGHT TO HAVE MY OWN OPINIONS WITHOUT YOUR INFLUENCE,' directed Sydney irritably at Evan.

'I mean she has a point, Grammarly,' stated Little Annoying Fuck. (Sid😭😭) 'Everybody deserves a chance.'

'Bro, no one asked. Do us a favour and shut up,' sighed Evan in his usual cold demeanour.

'To be completely fair, no one asked you either, Evan,' May said matter-of-factly. 'I think that gel in your hair is absorbing into your mind.' The sarcasm in her tone evident and a smile on her lips.

The entire group kept insulting and joking about, occasionally someone got offended and stayed quiet but it was deemed insignificant so no one really did anything about it.

'Guys, I need ideas. What's the best technique to describe an annoying person?', inquired Randy. She was almost always trying to learn new descriptions and expand her vocabulary to contribute in her Wattpad stories.

Randy was the type of person who'd sit in the corner reading a light hearted book or writing one of her own. She almost always had her short brown hair open, and her thin figure stood presently in the midst of her friends, writing down in her little story diary.

'Just fucking curse at them and that'll be enough.' Meg was not having anyone's shit today.

'I HAVE ZERO CREATIVITY. WHY NOT JUST QUIT USELESS DESCRIPTIONS AND FICTIONAL STORIES AND JUST MOVE ON TO ACTUALLY INTERESTING TOPICS LIKE HISTORY.' Sydney, as always, ranted about her esoteric interests.

'Why hate people when you can like them instead? You're not perfect and no one is really. Everyone is flawed so maybe we should just focus on ourselves.' Legitimately no one payed attention to L.A.F. (Little annoying fuck🧍🏻‍♀️)

'Agitating, irritating, angering and unlikable. You could maybe also use literary devices and personify your hate for the person', Evan answered, as if he'd been waiting to answer this question his entire life.

Kevin stood in the midst of the group observing everyone meaninglessly, his tall figure resting his hands in his pockets.

Freddie stood next to him scrolling through his phone like always nodding occasionally to pretend like he was listening.

'Abby, why the hell have you uploaded fifty slides on your story about Greek Mythology?' He said looking to her.

'ZEUS HAS LITERALLY BANGED EVERY WOMAN HE'S LAID EYES ON. HE EVEN FUCKED A ROCK. I felt that there was a need to put that out in the world,' started Abby.

'Guys I'm so sick of you all talking about books, I'm gonna take my leave now.' Evan rolled his eyes at his friends and turned in the other direction.

He could hear the voices of Sydney and the others echoing throughout the school. He walked peacefully with his hands in his pockets and his shadowy hair falling over his eyes.

Evan tiptoed upstairs to the classroom for a moment of peace and quiet to himself. It was something he occasionally needed every now and then, and was almost impossible to find in this tumultuous environment.

The classroom was empty, the dim lights reflected on the glossy floor as he looked down towards his feet. His black shoes were cracked and worn out from the edges. It was ironic, since he never used them for exercise or anything much really.

His eyes were closed and the surroundings were finally something he needed. He leaned back on a table taking a breath of tranquility. It was all stagnant until he heard the sound of low footsteps getting more prominent and then the door of the room bursting open.

He looked up abruptly, surprised that someone would be upstairs at this time of day in school. Surprisingly. It was Notorious Nina.

She stopped as she spotted him, a wicked leer plastered across her lips and her eyes glinted with pure loathing. She clicked her tongue in distaste at the image of Evan, the one person she truly despised.

Nina had a very eccentric demeanour, her hair was half pink and blue. She almost always had a sarcastic or mocking tone and she barely showed affection for anyone but her close circle of friends. She placed her hand on her hip, the long nails painted blood red.

'Look who it is. Emo. Fucking. Evan', she sneered with her usual sinister tone.

Evan looked at his wrist and pretended to observe the time.

'I really don't have time for this, what did you say your name was? Nora?'

'So hilarious, you piece of shit. Only if you pluck that hair out of your ears maybe you would actually be able to hear.'

Evan did not want to indulge in uncalled-for arguments. He was purely annoyed by the fact that his isolation was interrupted by this brooding figure who called herself a woman.

He knew who she was and he knew what her actual name was. And he most definitely knew how she got pissed when people got it wrong. He did not want to waste his time on this useless banter.

'I don't really want to interact with the likes of you, so let's call this a farewell.' He muttered and moved to walk past her and through the door.

'We're not done yet.' She hissed blockading his way.

'But I respectfully am, and I'm not having this conversation again. Nina.' He met her eyes and she saw the disgust in them.

His elbow brushed against her shoulder and he increased the distance between them. He didn't know where he was going but he knew one thing.

He needed to get away from her. ♪ ˎˊ ˗
