Hamdan Gillani, the son of a ruthless politician, has secretly married Nayab Mustafa, for love.

Hamdan's younger sister, Sabeen, and his Dado, as well as Nayab's family is aware of the alliance. Even Hamdan's older sister, Seerat, knows about the secret marriage, although she doesn't know who the bride is.

Samreen Gillani, the ruthless politician, has suspicions regarding this alliance, and is very unhappy. She gave Seerat twenty-four hours to find out who the girl is.

Samreen Gillani stared out of the window of the study, her mind a thousand miles away from the beautiful hills of Islamabad. "The elections are getting closer. I want our party to reign." She turned to face her live-in son-in-law, Javaid Khan, who sat on the sofa sipping from his cup of tea. "I don't want any scandals or any problems that can be a threat to my victory."

"What do you want me to do, Aunty?" He looked up at her, waiting for her command.

"Nothing." She said simply, a calm look on her face.

"Nothing?" Her indifference surprised him.

"I know what I'm doing, Javaid." She sat down on her armchair. "All you need to do is make sure that Seerat doesn't go astray."

"I will never allow Seerat to endanger your victory." He reassured her. "Seerat is not the threat anyway." He looked pointedly at her.

"Don't worry about Hamdan. I have everything under control."

"What do you mean?" He was intrigued at the idea of Hamdan being thrown out of the family, considering that the Gillani son was a threat to Javaid's dreams of power.

Samreen didn't reply, but Javaid could tell from her expressions that she had a cunning plan in her mind.

The devil takes lessons from Samreen Gillani. Javaid thought as he finished his tea. I wonder what she's going to do.

Hamdan

I was in my office, helping one of my staff fix a technical issue on a computer when I heard gasps. I looked up and saw my mother walk into the large open-plan office where the staff worked.

Ya Allah Khair! I straightened up and walked over to her.

"What are you wearing?" Was her first question when she saw me.

I looked down at my blue t-shirt and khaki trousers. "That's what I wear around the office."

"You look like a member of staff of a resort!" She shook her head and began to march towards my office. "I need to talk to you."

"Yeah, it's not like I have anything else to do in my office." I muttered sarcastically as I followed her inside. As I entered the office after her, I closed the door, not failing to notice the curious glances of my staff. "What's this about, Mama?"

She turned to face me, her expressions softening. "I'm announcing your engagement to Shafaq Rafeeque."

"A politician promising something that's never going to happen. How unexpected!" My sarcasm remained strong. "Why are you so hell-bent on forcing this...?"
