After about a week of getting to know some people, moving in, and exploring parts of the city, it's finally time for my first class. I have biochemistry for my first class- one that I'm not looking forward to but need for my degree.
I'm pretty nervous since I don't know anyone here really. I'm mostly nervous about seeing Blake.
When I arrive at 9:00 AM sharp all I can think about is Blake so I look around to see if he's in this class. Lo and behold Blake sits at the back of the classroom. God I can't believe it. I made sure to get him out of my life for good but now I'm stuck with him for half a year!
After the bell rings and the students are settled in their seats, the teacher introduces himself and begins the class.
I look around and I notice that Owen isn't in this class which actually made me a little sad.
"Alright students, you are going to begin today by introducing yourselves to each other and then you will choose someone as a lab partner for the rest of the semester.", the teacher says to us.
I look around and I see some people who appear to be nice, but when I approach them they give me the bitchiest stare and ignore me. Yeah no, not talking to them. I also see Blake but ignore him. After a bit of time, every one has found a lab partner but me. The number of students is odd. Great.
"Islah you're just going to have to join a group for the lab", the teacher tells me. I sigh and stand up. However, before I could join another group, someone comes bursting through the door. It's Owen.
"Hi Mr. Black, I'm joining this class now!", Owen says. "Mr. Parker! Come join. You can sit next to Islah over there and be her lab partner.", Mr. Black says. Owen looks at me and smirks.
After Owen sits down beside me, I look back and see Blake giving me a jealous death stare.
This could be bad...
