We started walking to the school at about 9:45. When we got to Nekoma it was quite interesting since there were only three people there early which was just us and Yaku-san. Lev teased Yaku-san about his height, Yaku-san roundhouse kicked him. I laughed silently. I thought about what was to come in the next 24 hours, mainly the fact that I'd be on a bus for 5 hours a day and a half after signing up for this position. I sighed thinking about the ride. These hoes better win for making me do this.

Time passed and soon everyone was there, I called role for Coach Nekomata while he locked up the gym. Everyone was there except one person. I thought about it for a second and realized who it was, Kenma-San, I visibly searched around for a second and saw a tired figure walking this way looking like a grumpy kitten that got woken up from its nap while holding a Nintendo in the distance. I calmed my urges to laugh at him and just let him be.

Soon after Coach Nekomata finished locking the place up we all sat on the bus, Lev asked if I wanted him to sit with me. "Are you sure you don't want me to sit with you?" "Yes, Lev I'll be fine" " Are you absolutely positive though" "I'm more positive than a proton" an odd bedhead-looking human laughed at my science joke "nice one" He said while laughing. "ok Kimi whatever you say, if you need me just text, or call" "Lev, hun, you do realize we're on the same bus I could just walk over there" "That works too" I stared at him in concern. "You know what, just, good night Lev" I said laying down in the back of the bus where the longer seat was. "good night" He said walking away.

I close my eyes. I'm exhausted. I grab my phone and check the time, it's 10:58 PM. I'll go to bed at about 11:30-ish I thought. I grabbed my phone and watched one of my favorite comfort YouTubers, Bore.d, who recently changed his username to Bored.

After watching him cook so much food and then eat it I grew a bit hungry. I pulled out a granola bar from my bag and opened it as quietly as possible since everyone was quiet or asleep. I bit into it, it didn't taste very good but I had to make due so that I wouldn't eat all the good snacks first.

After watching Bored, I ironically became bored so I decided to watch some random art videos instead.

My eyelids became heavy as I drifted off to sleep.

(Time skip to 4:35 AM)

I fluttered my eyes open as I was being shaken softly by a figure. I opened my eyes to see the person who sat about two rows in front of me, Kenma-san. Since it was Kenma-san I decided not to throw a fit. "I'm guessing we're here?" I asked, and he simply nodded in response. I grabbed my bag and my fallen phone and walked out of the bus.

As manager, I was assigned to go inside the gym first so I went ahead and walked in to see a dark-haired boy serving to a much, much, smaller orange-haired boy. I immediately recognized the dark-haired boy from his odd profile picture, it took me a while but I finally recognized the orange-haired boy. As he still looked like a little ray of sunshine, even in real life.

I walked over to another manager I saw and introduced myself. "Hi, I'm Haiba Kimiko, please do call me by my given name so that you don't confuse me with my brother" I said as cheerfully as possible at around five in the morning. "Nice to meet you Kimiko-San, I'm Kiyoko Shimizu, Karasuno's manager" "nice to meet you Kiyoko-san, do you mind telling me where the bathroom is?" " it's down that hall to the right" "thank you, I'll be back" I said.

I changed into my red tracksuit and put my hair half up and half down. I made my way back to the main gym area. I texted my parents

I put my phone in my pocket. I looked up and I ran into Kageyama. "I'm so so sorry" I said bowing rapidly "Uh it's fine" Kageyama said. I moved out of the way to let him pass. After he passed I turned around and verbally apologized once more, he was kinda red so I asked if he was ok. He said he was fine I said sorry again before leaving. I just got here and I already bumped into a complete stranger I can't believe you, Kimiko.

She went over and chatted with Kiyoko and found out she was a third year. About an hour and a half later they started setting up the gym for the practice match. They all got changed and ready to play. Kuroo and Karasuno's manager, Sawamura Daichi, did their little rivalry handshake.
Once the practice match started Nekoma took the first set. Kageyama served first for the second set, when Kimiko saw him serve her jaw dropped to the floor. Kiyoko was next to her and pulled her jaw back up. Still, as Kimiko expected, Nekoma took the first set 25-22.

She watched the entire match in awe, still doing her managerial duties. She went to fill up their water bottles since some were empty.

When she came back Karasuno was in the lead by two points but the second she looked back at the scoreboard she heard a ball hit the floor on Karasuno's side. Giving a point to Nekoma.

A couple of hours later Nekoma won with both sets.

"Congrats guys!" I said enthusiastically while giving them their towels and water bottles. I went over to Kiyoko and told her and her team good job. I looked over to my right to see Kageyama in the corner filing his nails. But this time I didn't just see his shirt or number, I saw him. His raven-colored hair. His dark blue eyes. I was heating up in the face. I was knocked out of my trance by a dead-looking rooster. "Looks like Chibi-chan's got her eyes on someone" Kuroo-San said, smirking. I stuttered trying to cover myself up, I mean I was kinda obvious and whatnot. "Don't worry Chibi-chan, your secret's safe with me" Kuroo-San whispered. I nodded to Kuroo and told him about how I bumped into him earlier. "Kuroo-San, I'm gonna go properly introduce myself partly because I feel bad for running into him earlier" "Good luck Chibi-chan, tell me all about it later" Kuroo winked. I rolled my eyes as I walked toward the boy filing his nails still.

"Um hi, I'm Haiba Kimiko, I wanted to introduce myself to you properly, especially after what happened earlier" I said kind of shyly. "Oh, hello Haiba-San, I'm Kageyama Tobio, I look forward to getting to know you. Also, don't worry about what happened earlier, it was just an accident" "oh, I forgot to mention, please call me Kimiko so that you don't get me mixed up with my brother Lev" "oh ok, Kimiko-San, I look forward to getting to know you" "Same here, I'll see you later" I said blushing while waving at him.
