The day had come that Lev and I had to select which parent we'd be starting our weekend switch thing with. As one of our parents would be keeping the house that we were currently in and the other would be getting a separate house. Thankfully, the people in court and our parents allowed Lev and I to stay together. If we'd been separated, I don't know what I would have done. For that matter, I don't know what Lev would do.

Now which parent was to keep the house wasn't a problem as our father was the CEO of an important company and our mother was a marketing manager for a very well-known clothing brand.
It's currently lunchtime at school and Lev and I are going to have lunch in a private area to discuss this matter since it was very important and on the last day they'd be able to speak on the subject.
"Lev, what're you thinking? I'm team mom" I said, " I think Mom too I feel like living with a drunk dad would be hell" Lev replied. I nodded, showing my agreement. "That was fast, I thought it'd take way longer than that to be honest" I said as Lev nodded. We walked alongside each other as we made our way to the boy's volleyball team lunch table.
"Hey guys" I said announcing our presence. They all greeted us in response. I can't lie, I still had no appetite. I just sat with them and wrote some more stuff for my story.
(timeskip + change of pov)
The last class of the day had begun and the teacher had called Kimiko up to talk. "The principal would like to speak to you a little before dismissal, I just wanted to let you know ahead of time. I believe you're there in place of yourself and your brother since he has volleyball practice." Kimiko nodded in return with a small thank you.
Kimiko spent the whole class staring out of the window, wondering what the principal might've wanted with both the Haiba's.
The end of class came and Kimiko was dismissed, she saw Lev in the hallway on his way to volleyball practice and told him what was happening before continuing to go to the principal's office.
"Ah, Miss Haiba, thank you for coming to my office as requested" The principal, Mrs. Maki, said motioning me to sit down. "No problem, what seems to be the current issue I'm needed for" Kimiko asked sincerely. "So we received a call from your mother and she told us the news, we (the office) are very sad to hear that you have to go through this sort of familiar problem. As the principal, I have to have the students' addresses so whenever you guys find a house please do not forget to tell the front office" Mrs. Maki stated "Oh ok sure thing" Kimiko said "I'll be leaving now thank you, Mrs. Maki" Kimiko said before bowing and exiting the office.
She arrived at the Gym and felt obligated to text Kageyama. The Gym reminded her of the time when he taught her to receive, she then realized she hadn't spoken to him since she gave him her number at the elevator of that hotel.
She wrote 'text Kageyama when at home' down on her hand and continued analyzing the boys' performance.
Practice ended with 25 laps around the Gym, giving Kimiko time to clean up the volleyball equipment.
After practice they all walked home together per usual, Kimiko used that time to tell Lev all about what had happened in the principal's office.
(time skip + pov change)
At home, I went ahead and changed and went to get Lev so that we could go ahead and tell our parents our final decision.
"Mother, Father, we've come up with our final decision of where we'd like to stay first in the 'every two weeks' cycle." I started allowing Lev to finish " we decided on staying with mother first, we could state the reasons but, we won't" he finished. "Alright, thanks for telling us. Once we get more info, we'll be sure to tell you. Have a nice night you two!" our mother said.
"Good night Kimi, don't stay up too late. You've got a pop quiz tomorrow from Mr. Hinode, don't worry though it's super easy" Lev said while walking to his room. Now to be honest I don't care for that test or whatever, ever since the news Lev has been acting sort of out of character. I hugged him, "Goodnight, and alright thanks for telling me" I told him leaving to my room as well.
