"we got back door patrol." he told josh. as he joined him.

"hey!" kate shouted shouted up to them. grabbing joshs face with her hands and kissing him hard. before pulling away and smirking at simon as she passed. anastasia smiling at the pair.

"i'll run inference up here." simon making his way over to anastasia as kate spoke. grabbing her waist and swooping her into him. her arms wrapping around his neck almost immediately melting into him. one single kiss before pulling back. their foreheads resting against one another.

"don't die princess." he muttered.

"i'll try not to si. i'll do laps around you guys." she smiled before pulling away completely. the last part of her sentence to deena and sam who nodded. and like that all three were off. disappearing into the aisles around them.

"okay, i got stock room. you take emergency exit." simon muttered as he made their way to the back of the shop. the staff only area.

"wait. no. no. no. splitting up is not a good idea at all." josh added as he held out his hand to stop simon.

"but dude, listen to me i know this is all fucked up but we gotta do this. kate, she's a crusher. she doesn't have time for most people." simon told the younger boy in honesty.

"i know. she's just being nice because we're probably gonna die-" josh started but was cut off instantly by simon.

"no. okay well maybe we're gonna die but kate is not nice. she sees something in you." simon told the boy.

"so?"

"so, see that in yourself dude. we would not be this far if it weren't for you. now we have to keep those pyschos away from sam. so go. man up and check that exit." simon told the boy as he patted on hsi shoulder. and josh nodded. he was right. of course he was. and like that simon was disappearing behind the curtain. leaving josh in the long aisle with the exit.

"deena. deena. what if we fuck up and just kill me? what if we can't bring me back?" sam cried and deena looked up. she had been sorting the pills back out.

"listen to me. when.you left, i saw it all. my whole future, my whole life in shadyside. a night shift, a day shift as a million empty beer cans just like my dad. no way out. but tonight, even though we are in hell, I feel like i have another chance with you. and im not gonna loose you again. all of my friends are here tonight, wiling to sacrifice themselves for you. because you, and we are the way out. when this is all over, i am gonna take you on two dates. one with our friends and one for just me and you. we're gonna eat cheeseburgers and listen to the pixies. and make out and have the best night of our goddammit lives. but right now you've gotta die." deena told the girl in all honesty as she noticed sam had began to cry lightly, smiling along with deenas words and even chuckling.

"i'm going to bring you back." she added, her tone almost possessive as she picked up the first pile of pills. sam breathing heavily as she took them in her shaking hands. and shallowed. before kissing deena. and so it begins.
