Dinner was around the corner. We all craved for some ramen and ttoekbokki. So we went to our usual place.

And proceeding to have ordered had some appetizers, and we just made some small talk and terrorize each other as well...

"So y'all ready for that interview on Thursday?" Renjun asks

Oh shit... he just had to pick that as a conversation starter.

"Well I'm not ready." Chenle answered first. And the rest of us just replied with "same". "Why do we need to be interviewed anyway?" Haechan asked. I even wondered that a lot.

Here's the thing...
The thing that we all had to interview for was that we all had recruit into this gang. For family business reasons.

Now, this gang is just another way to say that 'businesses have been united with each other'. All of us come of families that work in this kind of industry. So our dads basically signed or came up that their sons will be formed into a team as a sign of unity.

In other words... this whole thing is just an arranged marriage.

Kidding...

So the Jungs and Lees are the most influential and powerful among the other associates. Or is the most known. At first this whole situation was gonna between my family and the Jungs.
But the Jungs, thought of a great idea... since they have a lot of business partners, and they have sons... they thought of this as good way to keep this tradition for dying out.

Then had a whole meeting. A lot of their other business partners were also from different countries. Some of these countries were Thailand, Japan, China, Germany, Taiwan, America, Canada and even Macao. And of course a few of local/national business partners of the Lees and Jungs were also included.

Of course this became a big deal. So a lot of them had to stop by here to decide whether they agree or not. And they all did. All of them saw this as an opportunity. But good thing is their sons are already familiar with each other. All of us and some other childhood friends of ours will be making an appearance.

Yes, I knew Jaemin, Renjun, Jisung and Chenle since forever.

Chenle and Renjun are from China. As kids both of them had to accompany their families whenever they visited Korea for and meetings and shit. At that point they flew back and fort to Korea and China. Eventually they both moved here around high school.

Meanwhile, Jisung, Jaemin, Haechan, and I are from here, in Korea. As mention, there's also Heachan being my cousin. And my other cousin Mark, who is from Canada was also with us for some time.

There's a good thing about this whole recruiting shit, is that we could finally be complete and that I'm working with my close friends. I just think Mr. Jung just wants to see us and see if we can be capable of joining the investment of our families wealth. Since he has known us since we were kids.

"Wait so when are you guys gonna gonna get interviewed again? It's all in the same day?" Jisung asks. "Pretty much, I think Mr. Jung just wants to catch up with us. I haven't seen since I was like 16 or 17?" Renjun says.

"Yeah, at least we're not working with some other people. Like this whole business shit is annoying the hell out me. I'm not even majoring in it. Hell! Most of us aren't even majoring in it." Jaemin ranted. "Well I am." Haechan said also Chenle raised hand out of spite.

"Yeah, it's gonna be a fucking wreck if I only worked with my dad and his other business partners." Chenle added. "I don't think non of us can absolutely stand those boring ass meetings."Renjun said.
