The Jungs' have finally reached the Kim mansion. The ancestral mansion, to be exact. "Holy shit there's a lot of people here." Sungchan was amused. Jaehyun takes a glance at the window of their car seeing that there is still a whole line of traffic, and that there are a lot of people for this gala. "It's the Kim's Chan, it's the Kim's. Of course there's gonna be a shit ton of people." Jaehyun says.

Nari bouncing her leg a bit due to some nervousness. Jeno then notices Nari fidgeting her hands. Before he could ask Nari, Sungchan beat him to it. "Noona, you good?" Nari then gives her a small smile on her assuring that she is fine. "I'm fine..." she mutters.

Their father turns to look at them. "Kids..." he starts out. "I expect this evening that you will be all on your best behavior. And that this mission that you have with NCT, will be a success. Am I clear on that?" He ordered his kids. "Yes, dad." The kids said in Union.

Ever since working with the Jungs, Jeno could really tell the differences with his family and the Jungs.

His family was more loving, a healthier environment. Even though all of the children were adults, it was still a positive environment. The Jungs, was cold and dark. Something happened and Jeno was sure if it. It was only Sungchan that coped on being bright and bubbly.

"Nari-" Mr. Jung calls. "Yes dad?" Mr. Jung looks at her from the car's mirror. "This is your first time in these kinds of events. I expect you to be on your best behavior, and hopefully you won't embarrass me. You have done enough for this family."

Everyone was taken aback from Mr. Jung's comment. Not as much as Jeno. Jeno quickly glanced at the mirror. Thankfully Mr. Jung looked at window not noticing Jeno looking at him. Nari was used to her dad making comments about her. She mentally scoffed to her dad. She took a deep breathe, and a deep exhale.

"I mean that's what Jeno is here for, right? So that I won't go that far." She chucked a bit. Then quickly looks at Jeno and then looks back at her dad.

The rest of the car ride was silent for about 4 minutes. Nari stared zoned out for those few minutes. Jaehyun and Sungchan just talking about regular stuff. Mr. Jung having a chat with their driver. Jeno getting asked some questions from either of the Jungs. But he would occasionally look at Nari from the mirror view.

She looked emotionless. She didn't have any sign on her face what's so ever.

At long last, they arrived to the entrance of the Kims' gala. This was the second time that Nari had been here due to Jiyoung being her best friend. She has been here one time, and now. They stepped out of the car. With Jeno being one of the first people to get out he reaches out his hand for Nari for assistance. Just like what happened earlier when Nari was coming down.

Nari holds his hand, and proceeds to get out of the car. The driver finally having a break from the family. Nari arched her eyebrow at Jeno. "Okay, why are you being nice to me." Jeno glances at her and breathes in the fresh Kim air. "I'm doing it for the pay check, remember?" He whispered, causing Nari to laugh. "Did you forget Jung lab?" She asks while Jeno just shook his head. "Of course not."

They were now walking down the stairs together. Just like what they did earlier. Jeno leading her down and Nari taking her time. They finally reached the bottom of the stairs. Now this where the party really starts. Nari takes a look  around the mansion. It was big, this was Jiyoung's ancestral mansion.

While Nari was taking a look on her surroundings, she just noticed Jeno's suit. And behold Lee Jeno, because he looked handsome tonight. The suit looked amazing on him. And for extra the hair, as always looks good. Of course Nari, had to contain herself.

Jeno as well, awing all over Nari. If only she could tell, even though they boy was being obvious enough. She was even in better lighting. "Wow." They both said at the same time. "Yeah I think this might be  Sungchan's best work." Nari pointed out. "Yep, I could've asked for a better model, but he picked a good choice." Jeno patted himself on the back.

"Yeah, he could've asked for a better one, then his collection would've been out of this world." Nari crosses her arms together. "Like I said it's because of me-" before Jeno could speak some more Nari just pushed away from her direction causing for the two to laugh a bit. "You're acting like Haechan now." Nari joke a bit. "Thank you for making me realized." Jeno eye smiled at her. "He still has more rizz than you though." She shrugs.

"Jeno we have to go-" he heard Ten from his ear piece. He forgot that he was here too for a mission. Jeno looks at Nari, thinking what she should do for the next twenty minutes or so. Nari takes a look on Jeno, thought he was crazy touching his ear for no reason, but then remembered that he was also here for a mission. "Nari- I have to go... I don't know what to do here I-" Jeno started stammering. "It's okay I'm sure I can find Jiyoung here. Just go. I'll be fine, I won't tell my dad that you ditched me." She interrupts her, she gives an assuring look.

With that Jeno just left...
