Jeno's POV:

I arrive to the Jung Residence early than usual. After I park the car I went to her house. I found Mrs. Oh about to prepare lunch. "Good afternoon Mrs. Oh!" I bowed and greeted her. "Jeno! Hello! I was about to prepare lunch. Nari told you suppose to be here an hour from now." She smiles at me. "Good thing I caught you in time. " I said nervously.

"In time? Why so early?" She gives me a look. A look like she knows what's going on.

I scratch the back of my head out of embarrassment. "I wanted to take Nari out to lunch-" I was interrupted to her when she threw in some 'oohs'. I felt heat across my cheeks and I had to defend myself quickly, because I don't see her that way. "No no no- not like that Mrs. Oh. I meant like take her out for lunch because we are studying finals together and I was thinking we could stop by a cafe after." I quickly blabbered my words to her.

Mrs. Oh let's out a laugh, finding me adorable for my fondness. "I see the way you look at her Jeno. I feel like you are not sure of yourself. But you can't deny it longer. Your eyes say it all." She says.

When she said all of that I just looked down to avoid Mrs. Oh reading me, but she can still read me. I turn to look up at her. "Is it obvious." I ask her. She just chuckles again, finding this whole thing cute. "Too some people it's not, for me it is. You have nothing to worry about." She gently approaches me and pats my shoulder.

Seriously why those everyone do that to me?

I just took in a big sigh to accept my defeat. "I won't tell anyone about it, if you give me some dessert on your way out." She nudges me. I look at Mrs. Oh "Any kind of dessert?" I ask her with a polite and unsure smile. She just nods.

Mrs. Oh and I bid goodbyes, seeing her maybe later. Now I owe her some dessert. I look at the kitchen floor and stare at my shoes for noticing the detail it has. And then, I got a text from Nari.

Nari:

Don't forget to come here, I still need
help with all this final shit.

Jeno
Actually, I'm already down stairs.
I told Mrs. Oh that we're gonna eat
outside and maybe we can study
in a cafe ?

wait why do you wanna eat out?
nvm I'm good
as long as your paying
it's gonna take me like the next hour
to get ready

Okay, just stay downstairs.

I wanted for a good 45 minutes. But I wasn't in a rush anyway. She can take more time if she needs to. Bouncing up my leg up and down out of nervousness I finally see Nari coming down the stairs. "Shit, sorry to keep you waiting Lee." She hurries. I just smile at her "Oh it's fine, we're not in a hurry anyway. Umm.. you're good now right?" She walks away from the living room and into the kitchen. "Yeah, hey you parked at the back right?" "Yeah like always."
