It was now four pm. Classes were about to finished any minute now. Usually Nari would wait for Jiyoung at the med department. But some how she ended up waiting in the Science department. which was next to the med department.

She was waiting for Jeno. Usually it would be Jeno that waiting for her but not today. Nari was just checking the tabs she made in her binder notebook. Maybe something she could use for studying later.

Damn do these science people take forever. She stood there impatiently. She heard the bell ring, then silence. After about maybe three minutes students were bursting out the doors.

There were a lot of people. Just like any other student they wanted to get out as fast as they can. Students separating into different groups or just skipping out of there. Occasionally they would bump to one another.

Like how they did to Nari. Nari hates crowds, she always get claustrophobic, ever since her kidnapping. Any small space just triggers that trauma of hers.

As the crowds get smaller she still didn't see Jeno. Still, there would be people bumping into her, some apologizing and some did not.

She checked for stuff incase they fell. Which good thing did not. She was getting impatient. She leaves her spot to find Jeno. She knows that she isn't gonna find him taht easily. So she took out her phone while she was walking.

She wasn't watching steps and falls to the ground. Accept she didn't entirely fell. She felt someone holding her shoulders.

"Good thing I caught an Angel in time. Otherwise she could've got into hell."

Nari heard the man say. When she turns to look at him it was the devil himself; Lee Jeno, just the man she was looking for. Seeing Jeno with the smug on his face just from the pickup line he said.

"And yet she's with the devil himself." Nari said and just cringed after. Who was she kidding this kind of shit was silly to her. But Jeno was impressed.

"Not bad for a compliment Jung." "Not bad for the catch." Jeno exhales and takes a big breath in. After a long day of lectures. "I could handle being mafia shit, but that physics lecture was killing me." Nari just gives him a pat in the back.

"Now the gravity of earth can take you back to hell, Lee." Now it was Nari that had a smug on her face. He didn't want to argue with her anymore. He was surprised to see Nari waiting for him.

"I thought you would wait for Jiyoung?" "I thought I would too." Strange they both wondered. They were now leaving the sconce building and on they're way to the parking lot. Where they would make plans after school.

"How are you? You know? Since you're... in your period?" Jeno started asking. Nari was taken a back with the question. Besides her brothers, she didn't expect Jeno asking her that. "I have sisters, I'm okay if it's all bloody and shit. It's normal." The fact that sounded more genuine made Nari relieved.

"Umm... it was pretty bad. The cramps were killing me." She gave an awkward laugh. "On a scale of one to ten, how bad?" "Kind of like a seven point five." Nari says. And Jeno nods, all unbothered.

Why is he asking me this???

"I have a portable heat pack in my car. I can just get some hot water in the cafeteria at your dad's company. We gotta wait for Renjun, Chenle and Haechan, though." "Oh? What's in the company?" Nari turns to Jeno as he starts his car. "Yeah, just some boring meeting stuff." Nari made an oh face. Knowing that they had to have a meeting with the whole NCT.

"Is Jaemin coming?" Nari suddenly asks. "Probably not, probs sucking face or studying with Jiyoung." Jeno laughs. "Good, I guess I can wait for her then." "Nah I bet Jaemin won't go to that meeting, gonna suck face with Nari." And the both of them just laugh. Just waiting for their best friends to make a move already.

Like seriously, just make a goddamn move already.

"And you're telling me their not dating???" Nari rubs her temple. "That's what I'm saying." Jeno snickered. And the awkward silence was back again.

It seem like they forgot to hate each other. This time they're being tolerable to each other. And they're not bothered by it anymore.

Jeno takes a look at Nari, who is just staring at the distance. Probably thinking about what she would write in her essay, or how she could spend her time in her dad's company waiting for her bodyguard.

"Yo Jung-" "Yeah?" She turns to look at him and for some reason Jeno was attracted to it? How she turned her head towards him? Some cliche shit you would see in a drama. "Have you eaten something today? Like satisfied some cravings of yours." Nari's eyes lighten up a bit. But died down due to realization of something.

"Oh, I'm on a diet." She scratches the side of her head. "Starving youself isn't a diet. " Jeno insisted that Nari should eat something. "I didn't say I was starving myself." Before Nari could defend herself more, Jeno grabbed her wrist and started walking.

"You're gonna eat something." He said firmly. While he was walking and dragging Nari. He grabbed his phone and called Renjun. "Give me fifteen minutes. Nari and I will go to the connivence store, and wait in at hallway near the parking lot." He hung up and the walking pace became faster. And he just ignored the many yells of Nari.

"Jeno let me go!"

"Jeno this is forced feeding!"

"You're gonna get fired! I'll tell my dad you're actually a kidna-"

Before she could continue, they already in the connivence store. She didn't say anything m, because she was just overwhelmed with the food. So overwhelmed that her tummy even rumbled.

"Yeah I'm not gonna get fired. See you're hungry. Get as much food as you want. And I'm paying okay?" All Nari could do was nod. At first she only got a few food. Like a diet drink and protein bar.

"What's this?" Jeno said. "Food. This is all I'm getting." Nari answered back. "I'm not a dumbass Jung. Now get some real food, okay? None of this diet shit. Get some ramen, some chips, ice cream, I don't care as long as it will make you full, Okay?" Nari said nothing and returned the stuff she originally bought. She got some chips, some ramen and some chocolate and a melona icecream, she got some for Jeno as well.

And also for Haechan, Chenle and Renjun too.

She put all that food in the counter. And look at Jeno. "Is this it-" "Yeah." And then he payed for the stuff. Nari took out the ice cream first. And she gave the first one to Jeno. Jeno looked at her, and was about to refused.

"Don't even try to refuse." She interrupted to boy. Jeno didn't say anything, just gave her a small smile and thanked her. After, walked back to the parking lot get the three boys. Who Nari also have ice creams too. The boys were very happy.

"Thanks Nari, very nice of you."

Yes, it is very nice of her. Jeno thought to himself. Something about that act of kindness made his heart melt a bit.

And he didn't know why?
