Doctor and Support

The doctor soon arrived " Hey Mika can you explain what your eyes felt like yesterday " his doctor Nathanial asked.

"Tired but that's normal when I'm busy but then I think I was drugged cause it was as if my eyes were on a delay I saw things minutes after they happened" , Mika tried to explain it didn't make sense even to him. His doctor frowned but wrote a few notes down "I'm just going to shine a light in your eyes you tell me if you see or feel anything " He says as he checked Mika's eyes.

Are but that's all" Mika sighed it didn't sound like this would be able to get better easily

"I can get an Optometrist for tomorrow but I don't know of any drugs that cause delayed vision. Of course, there are always new drugs, especially party drugs." He sighs prescribing some eye drops "I'm giving you some eye drops you might not blink so it's important to keep your eyes moist " The doctor explained

"So there's nothing you can do, you don't even know if this is permanent" Mika spoke annoyed he wanted his sight back he didn't know how he'd cope he knew he'd face challenges before but this felt so much different it scared him more then any bully or awful teacher.

"I'm sorry" The doctor sighed "I'll do my best to get you news tomorrow," He said

"I have a concert tonight," Mika said softly he didn't want to cancel but the thought of everyone watching if he made a mistake if he fell over. But he'd already rearranged so many shows at the beginning of the year that he felt his fans would hate him for rescheduling more, plus if this ended up permanent he'd never want to stop singing. "I don't see any reasons to stop maybe less moving around but vocally you should be fine, if you want to go on stage you can, " The doctor said simply as he left

"What If I can't do this "Mika said as Andy walked back into the room

"You never needed music to play piano, I'm sure you can picture it in your mind babe plus there are lots of blind singers who did well look at Stevie Wonder, or do you still have contacts from the voice maybe Vincent can help you " Andy Trie to reassure him kissing his forehead

"I'm no Stevie wonder" Mika half-joked "I can't cancel thought not again I'm going to do my best but I need to ask you something, "

"Anything babe"

"I want you nearby if I'm panicking on stage I need you o know it's not your place that you hate being in front of my fans I would never ask you Andy but this is different"

"You will be amazing you always are but if you need me I'll be there I'll always be there," Andy said giving him a small kiss he hoped he wouldn't be needed but he would always support him.
