A Useful Talk

The next day Mika had another concert He tried not to worry it had gone well before and he didn't think he's need Andy with him He was sure everything was going to be perfect. He talked with Max again who mentioned his cousin had come to hear him "Bring her backstage I'd like to meet her" Mika told him.

Max was glad that he seemed to be more confident without his sight and was glad that he seemed to be understanding and wanting to learn without his vision after some time Mika heard Max return

"Mika this is Blair My Cousin" He smiled

Mika turned around assuming he was facing her even if neither of them could see he still wanted to face her"

"Hi" Blair Smiled softly "Thanks for inviting me back here"

"Any family of Max's is welcome here or anyone in the band for that matter" Mika laughed smiling.

"Well I know Max adores you, he talks about traveling with you whenever he visits and mentioned you were struggling so I wanted to help cause you've helped him and your music helps me."

"It's just hard" Mika sighs

"My eyes felt like they were on fire for days kids being stupid but it was permanent even if they didn't mean any harm," She told him sighing/

"We don't know if it's permanent" Mika admitted

"Be hopeful it isn't but if it is it's not the end of the world you'll learn to live so many people do every day and you can't shy away because you see the world differently now"

Mika smiled he liked what she was saying and hope that he would be able to live without fear one day that he wouldn't be scared of simple things "I hope so "

"You will i mean you're strong enough that you continue to be you, You could have canceled from fear, you are strong for not giving up music from not hiding away in shame cause its not shameful it's just a superpower to push past and fight for" Blair smiled hugging him Mika smiled warmly it felt nice to have the encouragement and maybe he was stronger then he thought

"I guess I've always wanted to push past disabilities to own who I am and not let anything in my way even if it scares me," Mika says honestly he always thought of his dyslexia as a superpower It was just a different way of living he knew that with Paloma too.

" Blind or not You should come to the theater to hear what we all have to say You'll understand more."

Mika smiled nodding "I'll come next time in London" He promised. "Enjoy the show" He added

"I'm sure I will " She smiled before leaving.

Mika smiled getting ready maybe she was right he had overcome his vision and just needed to enjoy himself whether he got his sight back. He kept that thought with him and he walked on stage ready to give his best performance.
