I woke up the next morning to my alarm clock. It was finally Friday! Today was the day. I was beyond excited. After deciding what to wear, I washed my face and braided my hair. I check my reflection in the mirror before putting my shoes and socks on. As I pulled my left shoe on; a soft knock sounded at my door.
Me: Come in.
Scott walked in. Whoa. I thought that he was going to dress casual, not dressy like he was on stage. I then just realized just how handsome he really was. I shook my head to clear my thoughts. Focus Kailyn.
Scott: You look amazing!
Me: Thanks. You do too.
I breathed the last sentence making Scott laugh. Even though he kinda acted the same way about me... I stood up and walked to the door.
Scott: I'll wake up Mitch if you want to wake up Malone.
Me: Okay.
I knocked softly on my friend's door. A soft voice told me to come in. She was already dressed!
Me: You're up!
Malone: Yeah. Wow, you look amazing.
Me: Malone!
She nudged me gently then smiled at me as she knew how much this day meant to me.
Me: You look good too though.
She laughed and then walked over to the door.
Malone: Ready?
Me: Yeah.
Malone: Is Scott awake?
Me: Yes, he's getting up Mitch.
I wonder if Mitch is up too. I thought as I followed Malone out to the living room. All the lights were still off, so Kirstin wouldn't suspect anything. Hopefully, we can get everything ready quickly so that we don't have to be pushing it. I grabbed something quick for breakfast and Malone did the same. My phone was sitting on the counter, so I snatched it up and put it in my back pocket as we waited for the boys. It was only two minutes that we waited before they showed up. I forced my mouth to stay shut as I saw how handsome Mitch looked. Are they intended to make this extremely difficult? I wondered as I noticed that Mitch was smiling that smile of his that has brought comfort to me before. Malone laughed quietly beside me.
Mitch: You two look amazing.
Malone: You do too, Mitch.
I smiled my thanks because she voiced my thoughts. She leaned and whispered: "Scott is so handsome."
I nudged her and then walked to the door. I let the boys go first. I and Malone walked out hand in hand. As I got into the golf cart, I noticed that Scott was sitting in the front seat. Oh, dear. Calm down. Just keep your eyes on the road, Kailyn. I scolded myself. Once we arrived at the TTC, I parked in a different spot; knowing that Kirstin would see it if I parked where I did Wednesday. Jeffrey found us and drove us to the station. His blue eyes sparkled as he handed me a walkie-talkie so we could communicate. This is so fun and exciting! I thanked him and walked to the EPCOT monorail line. A monorail was already waiting for us. I smiled knowing that this is what happens when you befriend cast members. Once inside, I stood up and looked out the window. Within moments we were at the station and the four of us stepped out and I noticed that the party wasn't visible from the station. Perfect! As soon as we got to the place where we were going to put the stage, I helped Scott get it ready.
Scott: Want to do a quick run-through?
Me: We can.
I shifted from foot to foot as I looked at the empty place where the crowd would soon gather. My heart started to beat as I tried to imagine what it would be like when everyone was gathered.
