Chapter Twenty-Seven

"Hey! Gimme my pen back!" Eddie gasped as Venom plucked his pen he was writing with out of his hand while he was working on some homework.

"Hmm, I don't think so," Venom mused playfully. "And do you know why?"

"Because you don't want me to finish my homework?"

"No. Got something else in mind. You were being bad today, Eddie," the alien grinned.

"It was a normal day, V," Eddie said, slightly confused.

"Hmm, but I saw you looking at that guy in class..." Venom purred, liking how Eddie had no clue what he was talking about. "Uh-uh, don't deny it. I saw you."

"What are you—?"

"Looks as if you need to be reminded you're mine, Eddie." Venom moved closer, grinning wider. "And I know how I'm going to do it."

"Uh....how?" Eddie wondered, observing him carefully.

"I'll mark you."

"Huh?" Eddie's eyes grew huge. "Wait, y-you're gonna—-"

Eddie had seen too many alien movies to know that marking for alien's usually meant teeth. Bites. Scratches. Bruises. All over its claim. It's possession. Triumphantly declaring that he was taken. Taken by Venom.

"It won't hurt. Trust me," Venom replied, gently taking hold of his arm. "It'll be over in a few minutes."

"W-wait—" Eddie said quickly as Venom dragged his tongue across his arm in a very sexy manner and then pressed him up against his desk.

"Oh, don't be a little baby and take it," Venom cooed with a chuckle. "You're mine, so I can do whatever I want with you."

Eddie then watched in confusion as Venom lifted the pen and began to scribble something on his trapped arm. Looking up into those large, white eyes, he saw amusement sparkling in them.

"Aww, did you think I was going to bite you?" Venom growled teasingly.

"W-well, I—"

"I could if you wanted me to, but seeing that you didn't seem to like it, I think writing it would be better," Venom smirked. "There. You're marked."

"Y'know this will just come off in the shower, right?" Eddie smiled.

Venom just flicked him and gestures towards the markings.

"Read it," he urged.

Eddie did so.

"Property of Venom." He blushed. "Wow."

"See? You're marked."

"By a pen."

"Did you want me to bite you?" Venom growled low as he nipped at Eddie's neck.

"Well, I have thought about it before," Eddie admitted sheepishly. "But still, I don't think it's necessary to do that."

"It's necessary for me," Venom replied softly. "It's part of my DNA. A predatory drive, almost."

"Says the guy who eats chocolate," Eddie said with a grin.

"Y'know, you're just digging a deeper hole for yourself, buddy," Venom smirked.

"Eh," Eddie shrugged. "What can I say? I like to experiment."

Venom laughed and handed him his pen.

"Here. You can finish your homework now."
