The Mask of Deception

🐲 Lloyd's POV 🥷

I heard thugs were stealing a mask from Borg Tower so I hurried there. The alarms were beeping as loud as possible, making the thieves run out from a hole they created to get in. I spinjitzu around behind them.

"Nice masks." I knock down a light blue masked person. "You could almost pass as ninja."

I gesture them to come over in a fighting stance, as a green masked one pushes a black masked guy. I knock down a few with punches and kicks before activating Spinjitzu again.

Out of breath, I slowly walk to the route the other thieves used to escape. I followed them, grabbing the grappling hook rope and following them.

The green one lands, cutting the rope with his red sword. The light blue one falls, screaming. I swing the rope, catching him/her and letting them down. To the police.

"Pixal, I need my car." I say, looking down at the green guy (who's now red) escaping.

"Your coordinates, Master Lloyd?" Pixal responds.

"Somewhere over...you know how to find me." I drop down to the cars below and land in my car.

I chuckle. "I could kiss you, Pix."

"I don't think Zane would approve."

I speed up to find the thief. "Who am I chasing?"

"He or she is not in our database." Pixal shows a picture of the guy on the screen.

"Whoever they are, they're good. I need backup."

"All of the others are on active missions throughout Ninjago. You are on your own."

I speed up, scratching the side of the road. I follow him/her over a broken road and come beside them. They slow down, making me U-turn. The guy activates some spiked thing in front of his motorcycle, makes it hit the ground, and flies over me.

He escapes, diving down and activating a parachute. It had..my father on it. I take off my hood, mouth agape.

"Master Lloyd, are you all right? Are you there?"

"Yeah I'm here," I say into the speaker. "It's time to get the team back."

🌊 Nya's POV 🥷

"Ugh, the sun is blistering. Faster!"

"You heard your master. Work!"

I pass by the place where men used these people as slaves, head down and carrying a bucket of water. I stop in the middle.

"Huh. You there—peasant. Bring me water."

I stay still, head still down.

"You hear me? Bring me some water." The "master" demands.

I slowly look up. "Thirsty?"

"Ah it's—"

"The Master of Water—Nya!"

"I don't care. Get her!"

The henchmen jump down, drawing their swords. I knock them down, swinging the staff holding the buckets with ease. The "master" starts to come at me as well.

I use the water in the buckets, splashing one at the "master."

"Still thirsty?" I make the other part of water spin around me. He starts to come at me again, yelling and holding his sword up. I splash him again, making the servants cheer.
