The Jade & Spirit Princesses

Lloyd stares in horror at the sight of Harumi's disappearance. He runs to the open window and spots Harumi.

"He's got Princess Harumi!" Lloyd gasps, putting on his hood and jumping off onto a roof.

"Wait! Lloyd!" I try to stop him, reaching my hand towards him.

"Stay there, Y/N!" Lloyd looks back and continues chasing Harumi.

I stubbornly follow him through the roofs, jumping from one to another with ease. Lloyd hides by laying down so I do the same.

"What are you doing here, princess? I told you to stay at the palace." Lloyd whisper-shouts.

"I was trying to tell you something before you- hey!"

Lloyd starts to take off again, sliding down the roofs and back flipping onto another. He lands spiderman-posed before he stops.

"You gotta be kidding me." Lloyd looks down at the big gap from this building to the one Harumi is at.

"Stop running away from me, greenie!" I sigh as Lloyd swings with wires and was stuck on a ladder breaking. I swing with the wires as well, quickly grab his hand, and pull him up to the building.

Harumi looks at us, dropping the bag of food.

"Who are you?" Lloyd asks in a fighting stance. I bring his arms down as Harumi takes off her hood. "Princess? I thought you were kidnapped. I was trying to save you."

"Was that what that was? From my vantage, it looked like N/N was the one saving you." Harumi looks at Lloyd. Lloyd bites his lip before he walks up to the bag.

"N/N? And who's in the bag?"

"N/N is my nickname. And you mean what's in the bag. It's food. Harumi goes out to give poor people food, remember? And she was not kidnapped." I explain as Harumi opens the bag and shows Lloyd the food.

"That's why you were following me?" Lloyd asks, turning around to look at me. I nod. "Sorry for running away...um...let's see..what would you like your nickname to be? Violet?"

"Is this payback for calling you greenie?" I put my hands on my hips.

"Hm...yes." Lloyd smirks.

"How about..Amethyst?" I smirk back at him.

"Emmy for short." Lloyd rolls his eyes and smiles. We start to laugh as Harumi stares at us confusingly.

"Rumi, don't ask."

"Umm..anyways.." Harumi continues. "Even though I'm confined to the palace, I still try to give what I can."

"But your bedroom—it was ransacked." Lloyd answers.

"Yes. I can be quite a slob. Thank you for noticing." Harumi smiles sarcastically.

"I'm sorry. I-I didn't mean—"

"The princesses are gone! Find them!"

Harumi runs to a laundry hanger. "They can't know we left the palace. You have to disguise yourself. Hurry." Harumi shoves a hoodie in Lloyd's way. I flip on my hood and follow Harumi.

We walk on a plank and climb down a ladder as Harumi hands some people the food.

"Some things are easier to do when you're not a princess." Harumi says, walking down the steps. "If I asked my parents, they would never allow it."

"But we wouldn't have as much food if we weren't a princess." I disagree.

"N/N is correct. These people are hungry. And we have so much food in the palace." Harumi hands Lloyd and I some food and we give them to little kids.
