Geet's POV
"For god's sake you kids hurry up. If we get late I swear I'll hit all three of you." Mom said while staring at us with irritated eyes.
We only giggled at her and carried our bags outside. We are going to Manali for a mini vacation.
The past month was very hectic for all of us. Mom dad were busy because of Bua's deteriorating health. Arnav was busy in a new project and Karan, well let's just say he had a hard time digesting the defeat in elections.
My life was peaceful but there was a constant nagging in my mind about Ranbir contacting me again.
Ever since the day his father died, we hadn't talked. I don't know if he tried to call me again because I have blocked him from everywhere.
When he said sorry I wasn't ready for that conversation. I told him to take care and hung up.
And I didn't think if I am still ready to talk about it. That night is still clear in front of my eyes. His entire form was enough to scare me for a lifetime.
And I am glad he isn't trying to contact me again. He has now successfully taken over the party and he is working very hard for the upcoming state elections. Though he hasn't come to Jaipur even once.
The hatred for him is growing in my family's mind. Karan hates even his name.
I think he finally lost his interest in me and decided to leave me alone. I will always remember him as an adventurous chapter of my life.
We settled in the cab and left for the airport.
After an hour long flight we finally reached.
Woah it's so cold here.
Thank god I already had my jacket with me.
"What the hell! Why is it so cold?" Karan said trying to steal mom's shawl from her.
"It's Manali duh. What do you expect? Jaisalmer's dessert?" Arnav said, rolling his eyes.
We reached the hotel which was surrounded by hills and a river flew from behind it.
It was mesmerizing. I love mountains and I always wanted to play in snow.
We siblings were staying in one room and mom dad were staying in the one in front of us.
We decided to relax a little bit and then go to explore local market in the evening.
Two days went by very quickly and we enjoyed a lot. All the stress had vanished and we were so ready to face our mundane lives again.
On the third day we went to Solang Valley and tried different adventure sports.
I felt the need to pee and I excused myself.
I had to use a restaurant's washroom and thankfully it was empty.
I did my business and came out. I was washing my hands when a voice startled me from behind.
"You look so cute little one."
