Chapter 5

Geet's POV

It's been 4 days since I am staying at Ranbir's house.

Nobody knows about me being here, my parents think I am back to Mumbai and my boss thinks I am in Jaipur.

I don't want to betray them but I have no option. Atleast for now.

The last four days were something I want to cherish forever. We both catched up on so many things that we missed out in the last 4 years.

Even now, our bond is the same. I like being with him as much as I did 4 years ago. I am so happy that time wasn't a hurdle between us.

But until when can we keep this relationship a secret? Ranbir does not want to make anything official because of upcoming elections and even I am not sure of my family's reaction. But Ranbir says that he will manage everything.

I need to go back to Mumbai, I can't live here forever. You have a life Geet you need to go.

And I was going to talk to Ranbir about this too.

He was working in his office at night when I walked in.

"Hey didn't sleep yet?" He asked glancing up at me.

I shook my head and stood near him.

"I wanted to tell you something." I said playing with the hem of my top.

"Yeah what is it?" He asked giving me his full attention.

"Um I have to go back to Mumbai." I said and saw his smile vanish and a small frown forming on his face.

"Why?" He asked.

"Ranbir I have a job. A career I can't leave like this. And everyone will be suspicious if I am not around for too long." I told him.

He went into thinking for a moment before nodding.
"You are right. I will arrange your flight whenever you want."

He looked down at his file but I know his mind was somewhere else. Even I was not happy to leave.

Sighing, I walked towards him and held his hand.

"I don't wanna leave either. But there is no option. And we have done long distance before." I said with a sad smile.

He stood up from his chair, towering over my small frame.

"I know. But after so many years of staying away from you I just want to keep you with me forever." He said, cupping my face.

I smiled at him and said,"Soon, that will come true."

He smiled after hearing that and matched his forehead with mine.

After a moment I opened my eyes to see how close we were. My hands were wrapped around his waist while he held my waist tightly.

He brushed his nose to mine making me blush.

Tilting my face upwards he placed his lips on mine.

My eyes widened at his actions. I have never done that.

He moved his lips against mine and I adjusted with his pace.

Closing my eyes I enjoyed the movement of our lips syncing together. His grip on my waist tightened and he pulled me very closer to him.

I moaned when our chests collided.

He licked my bottom lip and I didn't know what to do.

A light smack on my butt had me gasping and he took this opportunity to insert his tongue in my mouth. Wow.
