Chapter 10

I waved at Ranbir from where I stood and he waved back from his window. I had called Karan to take me home.

I can't believe I am having a boyfriend, and that too as Ranbir Raghuvanshi. My friends will go mad with excitement.

I smiled remembering our time today. I had so much fun and I want more. But I can't stay any longer than this.

Karan's car came into view as he drove in and stopped near me. I sat inside and he started the car.

"How was your day?" He asked while driving.

"Amazing. We had so much fun today." I said with a huge smile.

Karan smiled at my answer and continued driving.

After reaching home I greeted mom and dad before going to my room. First thing I did was message Ranbir that I had reached. Then I called my girls and informed them of what happened today. Well they knew already that I was going to meet him and what I had told at home.

As expected they were really happy and excited for me.

"Geet you better choose a college in Delhi now. That way you guys will be closer to each other." Riya said to me and I agreed completely. I want Delhi for two reasons now, One is that the college is very nice and second is Ranbir. He is not going to come to Jaipur now because elections are over.

I had decided to talk about it with my parents also. I hope they agree.

At dinner I decided to drop the bomb.

"Mom Dad, I have decided a college." I said looking at them.

"Which one is it?" Asked dad.

"The Delhi one. Its very nice for my course and the campus is very good." I said and saw everyone now looking at me with serious expression.

"Delhi? Are you sure because the city is very different and big. Will you able to be there on your own." Arnav said with concern on his face.

"Of course I will be okay. And I will adjust to the new life. Though I will miss you all a lot." I said with a sad smile. I don't know how I will live on my own but I guess I will have to manage.

"Give us some time to think. I will research some more about the college from my friends and tell you. Meanwhile you can also look for options which are more closer to us. Just in case you find a better college here." Dad said making me smile. Thank god!

I nodded vigorously and continued to eat.

Ranbir will be so happy if I come to Delhi. Then we won't have to wait for so long to meet. And I won't have any fear of getting caught.

What has happened to you Geet? You were so obedient of to your parents. And now you are deceiving them. They trust you so much and want to see you happy. What will they do when they find out about Ranbir?

My own thoughts started making me feel guilty. I am such a bad daughter. But I also want Ranbir in my life. When time comes, I will convince mom dad.

Woah where did that courage come from? Just two months ago I was even scared to talk to a boy. And now I am in relationship with one. Ranbir's entry in my life has changed a lot of things.

For the next week, everything went smoothly. As he had said, papa was talking to some people inquiring about the college. And so far I think he is convinced that Delhi is the best option.
I found a college in Jaipur too, but it isn't as big and famous as the Delhi one.

"Mom, I won't be home for dinner. My friend is back from Mumbai and he has called me to visit him at his hotel. So we both will have dinner outside only." Arnav said one evening.
