Future Adam rushed through the woods with his younger self, and Y/n. Y/n's  brain was completely stunned and her chest ached from her deep, anxious breathing. Her breathing was the only thing filling her head, she became pretty good at blocking out the voices of the two Adam's, but a yell caught her off guard.

"Wait. What? We're not coming with you!" Adam exclaimed as Y/n pushed her frizzy hair out of her eyes.

"Oh yes you are! Let's go. We need to go!"

Adam kept walking, and current Adam turned to Y/n and motioned to the man with dramatic disbelief on his face, making her giggle. "Will you stop and listen to me!" Adam called after his future self.

"This is our fixed time! You already had my childhood! You had adventures, you flew planes, and I'm still the nerd with an inhaler who gets his ass kicked! I want the rest of it."

Adam turned back to the blond boy, his head seemed to spin with annoyance. "Want the rest!?" He exclaimed, making Y/n jump.

"Yeah."

"Here's the rest of it. Dads death screws you up more than you ever realize." Adam begins, bending down to his younger self's level.

"You get depressed. You get angry. You wander around high school without making a social dent, and you push all of the people around you to the dust because you have too many of your own problems to deal with that. College is a high point, until after a year, you lose your scholar ship for something that is so unbelievably stupid I can't even say it out loud right now. And to top it all off, you're sister is dead! The only person that has ever believed in you, o-or had any sort of faith in you, and you pushed her to the curb, and now she's gone and you can't do anything about it!" Adam points towards Y/n, not even realizing his words in the heat of the moment. And even though Y/n already knew, the words seemed to stab into her chest, because she had never heard it from him before. Adam knew more about the future than anyone, it was like finally getting your answers from a primary source.

Adam's jaw locks, knowing that he messed up, but he's too angry to stop the rant to the kid he wanted to do nothing more to than punch. "You end up in the air force. Turns out you could really fly. And along comes time travel and the world starts falling apart until the only person you have.... the only woman you ever loved gets taken away. Do you understand me? Everyone.. they all just get taken away."

Adam looked at Y/n's sympathy-filled expression with solemn. "There's gotta be more than that." Current Adam whispers, "There is kid. And thanks to Sorian, none of it's good. We can fix it."

"By destroying time travel?" Y/n asks, and Adam looked at her and nodded, "That's right."

"How are we gonna do that?" Adam asks, and Y/n leans on his shoulder, "What's your plan?"

"Well I'm not gonna explain my plan to a nerd with an inhaler and a dork who vomits when she cries-"

"You don't have a plan." The twins say simultaneously once again, Y/n raising her eye brows.

"Because I do not have a plan. That is correct."

"Exactly."

"That's what I thought."

"But.. I know somebody who might."

"Dad."

"Dad." Adam nodded at the twins and the looked up at him in awe. "You're gonna find dad."
