A different Sakura.

S. 2. Chapter 1

Today is the day that Naruto come back. I was excited, we exchanged cards, but he would never tell me a lot of things. I am sure he has grown. Sasuke... still hasn't come back home...

"Sakura, go get the report from the front doors." Tsunade-sama said to me.

"On it." I said getting going.

I wasn't sure if I was her student or her slave... but I couldn't complain... I began to make my way to the entrance, and when I arrived I got the report and went back. As I was walking, I felt someone hug me.

"I missed you."

I heard before I took his hand and flipped them. I look back and see a blond head.

"Naruto...?" I called him.

He looked at me, and I recognized him. I hugged him.

"I missed you too." I said holding my tears.

I noticed that he was no longer the kid a little smaller than me. He had grown bigger and taller than me.

"Let's go see, Tsunade-sama. I am sure she will be happy to see you too." I said to him.

I also greeted Naruto's godfather, and the three of us went to the Hokage's tower. When we arrived, we directly went to Tsunade-sama.

"You guys finally arrived." She greeted Jiraya-san and Naruto with a smile.

"To see how much the two of you have grown. I asked a special person to fight the two of you. After that you two can fight each other like you promised." Tsunade-sama said to us.

Naruto and me nodded.

"So who is our opponent?" Naruto asked.

"He is-"

A knock interrupted her, and Tsunade-sama let them enter.

"Here is the report of this Chunin exams." Shikamaru said giving her some papers.

Since we became Jonin, Tsuande-sama has made us work twice as hard as when we were Chunin...

"Naruto! You came back already?" Shikamaru greeted Naruto.

Naruto nodded with a smile.

"It's been a while."

"Well, we have to get going, see you around." Shikamaru said and left with Temari.

We waved goodbye, and then we continued our previous conversation.

"Your opponent is waiting outside."

Naruto then went to the window and I followed him.

"Kakashi-sensei!" The both of us exclaimed.

"It's been a while, huh?" He greeted back.

"Yeah. I haven't been able to see you face too." I said back.

"Kakashi-sensei. I have a gift for you."

Kakashi-sensei was touched by his thoughts.

"What about me?" I asked him.

"I will give it to you later." He said with a smile.

I smiled back and nodded. Naruto then gave Kakashi-sensei a book. I saw the front page, and frowned.

"I wanted to read it to."

Naruto shook his head.

"You are still young."

"I am older than you!" I exclaimed.

"But don't act like it."

"I-!"

"Alright, alright. Seems like you two need a lot to talk about, so let's pospone the fight until later in the afternoon." Kakashi-sensei said and disappeared.
