"Are you coming in?"he asked once he got my full attention, "yeah but we need to hurry back to the hospital" i told him getting out. He nodded, as we both got out and headed in, he knocked on the door. "Why we at your parents house anyways" i asked looking down at my phone. I finally decided to text Mike,

Just as i pressed send, his mother opened the door. "Hey baby, oh Hey Promise what a surprise." She said looking shocked to see me. His momma was kinda of the stuck up type, she was one of those who thought cause she had a husband with money she was better then others. Even doe her husband money was dirty money she still had her nose in the sky. "Hey momma Tisha" i spoke hugging her. "Wassup ma" Don said brushing past her leaving me on the porch. "Where is Alexia?!" She asked as she directed me to come in. "Shes in the hospital" i told her walking in towards the living room. "What happened?" She asked as she closed the door and joined me in the living room. "She has a virus" i lied, "Aww, imma have to come see my baby" she said sitting on the arm of a dark blue love seat. I nodded as i sat on the couch, " so are you and Don back together?" She asked looking at me. "No ma'am" i told her as i said it he facial expression changed. She looked sad as hell "I told Don you were such a good girl, and to hold on to you." She told me getting watery eyes, i was confused as to why she was about to cry. "Its not that Don isnt a good man, its just I refuse for him to play me moma Tisha. I respect myself and my daughter to much for that, i love Don with everything in me and that with never changed. He was my first everything, and he is a great father its just he is not ready to give up his player ways for his family. " i told her truthfully. She cried hard " I just rather him be with you anyday than any other girl, your such a good gf. I told him soooo many times to hold on to you, and dont let you go." She said wiping away her tears. Don came around the corner and bursted out laughing, "ma you do this shit every time i come over here" he said walking over to her and hugging her. "Promise ass ain't going no where ma, i swear" he said rubbing her shoulder ensuring her that everything was going to be okay. "Imma settle down, I promise" he said looking at me in the eyes. I looked away "well it was nice seeing you momma Tisha" i said before getting up. She nodded i walked to the front door and let my self out. I went and sat in his truck trying to get my emotions together. His momma and daddy treated me like i was family, i stopped talking to them once me and Don broke up. Its just stupid that Don wont settle down, after 10 mins of thinking to my self Don finally decided to come out. "You good Promise ?" He asked getting in, i nodded yes. The ride back to the hospital was silent, I stared at the window the whole time. When we got back up to the hospital, we both went inside and waited on the elevator. Once it came he stopped on the second floor "imma meet you up there" he told me as he got off i pressed 5 which was the floor Alexia wss on. I went in, Milia & Minia was talking about laughing with Alexia. "Hey moma" Alexia sat up saying, "hey sweetie" i spoke walking over to her bed. I kissed her forehead, and sat at the end of her bed. All four of us sat there talking and laughing about a fight that happened in our apartment complex. Don came in with balloons and a big ass bear saying get well soon. "Hey baby girl" he said walking over to her handing her the stuff he bought her. "Omg thank you daddyyyyy!" She sat straight up wrapping her arms around her neck, kissing his cheek. She took the bear and said it next to her, my baby was just a big kid at heart. I hate this happened to Alexia, but i know everything happens for a reason.

After two hours of all of us talking and watching the new season of LHHATL, Milia and Minia left.

Me and Don let out the pull out couch, i put on my shorts and beetle. He stripped down to his basketball shorts, "good night momma and daddy" Alexia said before turning to her side closing her eyes "good night sweetie" we both said. I could tell she was happy about me and Don spending so much time together. Me and Don got in to the bed together, he wrapped his arms around me and we both went to sleep. But i said A Quick Prayer

Dear God,

Thank you for blessing me with a family, Help me to be there for Alexia every step of her pregnancy. Help me keep on raising and providing for her the way you been blessing me too.
