Part 14

Once i woke up from my nap, its was about 8 o'clock.

Don invited the family over after church, his family loved to party so I doubted if they were gone already considering that music was loud coming from downstairs.

Once i got up i went and brushed my teeth and pulled my hair back in a pony tail. I went and took off my dress from the funeral and put on a PINK sweat suit and air max to match.

Once i was dressed i went cross the hall to see what Trell nem was doing. Alexia was sleep in her crib so i close the door quietly then went down stairs to see was Don nem there.

As i got the bottom step i notice that the front door was wide open and pictures and lamps were all over the floor which broken glass every where.

I walked in the living room and blood was every where it was splattered all over the walks and furniture.

I didnt see Don or Trell, So i ran back upstairs and grabbed Alexis and her car seat then grabbed one of her baby bags that was pre packed. After i had her and all her stuff i went crossed the hall to get my phone and keys. I grabbed my phone off the charger, and looked for my car keys.

I couldnt find them i closed my room door locking it, then sat Alexis car seat on the bed. I sat next to her beginning to think what to do, i started calling Don and Trell phones. Don phone started ringing on the dresser and Trell phone kept going to voice mail.

I dont even know who blood was even downstairs, I just knew I had to get me and my granddaughter out of there. As I sat there thinking to myself my phone started to ring then Mike name flashed across the scream. I answered quickly not even giving the phone a chance to ring twice.

"hello" i said with a unstable voice.

"hey, whats wrong?" He said sounding concerned

"Can you come get me and my baby?" I asked starting to cry.

"Yeah of course text me the address" He said sternly

"Ok" I said before we both hung up.

I text him the address then began to pack a bag full of my clothes, because for I had a feeling I wouldn't be coming back no time soon.
